Circe takes advantage

My men and I are on a boat on a bumpy ride. We just had a tough journey escaping the Laestrygonians’ land. I feel sad and angry that half of my men were eaten I cant believe this happened. I also feel paranoid that Antiphates might come after me. Now my men and I... Well, my remaining men and I are heading to Aiola, home of the witch-goddess Circe I think she’s pretty but evil. When we get off the boat onto the island, We see Circe petting a lion like it’s a house pet, Which is very weird. My men and I are starting to settle in and Circe invites us to a feast. Some of my men accept the offer, but I wasn’t in the mood, so I didn’t go. At the feast one of the dishes was laced with a magical potion and when my men ate the food, Circe took advantage of them and did a spell with her wand turning, the men into pigs. One of the men managed to escape and ran to me asking for help, telling me what happened to the rest. I was so angry I didn’t know what to do. Then the hero Hermes protected himself from the spell by using a holy herb saving my men. Here I am feeling sad that im stuck on this island and afraid of Circe. I am now wondering what life is like back home ?
