Hand studies
I used to hate drawing hands (and it's still challenging sometimes), but now I kind of love it? Yay for character development :D

ART EVENT // CHALLENGE | ENG / RU
The main event takes place in TG!!! https://t.me/cotcotbaun
🤩 Hi! May is on the way. And that means it's time to stop procrastinating and start drawing every day 🔥 I present a challenge: every day in May, a sketch/stage/full-fledged drawing or at least something drawn No rules established. You can draw a person, an animal, an object, a feeling, or whatever your heart desires, as token of participation. The goal is not to achieve everyday consistency
How to participate:
You leave a comment with your tag // TikTok // Tumblr // [ a repost of this post is also appreciated ]
You draw something on the topic every day [ a sketch, a full-page drawing, digital or otherwise, we take any and all]
You post the result on your tg chan // tt with the hashtag #ArtKotoMay [ I'll search for it using advanced search ] + #AKM_day1 [ the date changes according to the day ] ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌈 At the end of May, we'll see what everyone has achieved, and I'll try to create a large-scale video on YouTube [ RU ] based on the results. The list will be published in the next post (https://t.me/cotcotbaun/108), and you can copy it. Good luck to everyone, and I look forward to your participation!

“Gotham Shadows & Golden Light”
Ink sketches of four heroes — each carrying their own kind of light and darkness.
Batman, the weight of Gotham on his shoulders. Red Hood, rage tempered by justice. Nightwing, grace born from shadow. Booster Gold, a flash of brightness from the future.
All done with brush pen and ink — experimenting with contrast, motion, and texture. Black and white feels honest — no tricks, no color to hide behind. Just lines, weight, and intent.
🎨 Haruhi Fujioka — Anime Study from Ouran Host Club ✨
A drawing I made years ago as part of my personal study of Japanese animation techniques. It’s based on a single frame from Ouran High School Host Club, recreated using the same 2D digital tools used in professional anime production.
🖋️ Pencil on canvas, then digitally painted and cleaned up in vector format. The background was hand-drawn from a school photo reference — the same method real anime artists use! I used an anime school image as reference and copied it, adapting it to the colours used in Ouran.
