01 How did you first find out about tumblr and what were the first things you blogged? Like the type of stuff?

I think a friend on livejournal ended up getting one set up, and then slowly the masses at lj started to trickle over here. I'm pretty sure lj's practically dead now because of tumblr. The first stuff I blogged was shit like Fall Out Boy songs and Durarara!! gifs. So, pretty much same as now? As in, whatever I'm listening to/watching at the time.

02 Who is your favorite celebrity if you had to choose one? And why?

Thaaat is a tough one. I'm going to go with Anna Tsuchiya, just because the world is not completely inundated with her presence like every other celebrity I'd consider listing. I love her facial expressions, she's fucking hysterical, and I love how her experience in modeling, acting, and rock music all blend together to create a fun show no matter what she's working on at the moment.

03 What is your native language and country/state?

English, and Texas, though my accent is influenced a lot by my growing up in Denver.

04 What countries would you like to visit and what languages would you like to learn?

I would love to go to Japan, Ireland, England, Wales, the Czech Republic, and maybe France? I know a little Spanish and a smidgen of Japanese, but I'd love to learn more Japanese, and maybe some Gaelic or idefk. Languages are cool.

05 What kind of people are you usually attracted to?

Witty people with a dry sense of humor? I'm sitting here trying to pinpoint what factors would make me into one person but not someone else, and it's hard to make a list. But generally speaking, humor, common interests, creativity, enthusiasm, and chemistry. Looks-wise, killer eyes and sexy hair.

06 Hey baby, can I have your number? Just kidding! Anyway, how do you usually flirt with someone?

LOL oh geez. Talk to them? Make jokes? My interactions with people in general rely heavily on feedback and reading people's reactions to what I say, so if I'm feeling a little more courageous I'll say something flirty and try to gauge their reaction. I think I also have a tendency to reach out and touch their hair or arm or here let me just put my hand in your face. (I never said I was good at it.)

07 What are your favorite foods?

pasta, sushi, steak, mushrooms, bread

08 Fandoms: What fandoms are you in?

I'm into a lot of video games, anime, comics, movies, whatever.

09 Do you have any artistic abilities? How about other types of skills/abilities?

I am basically decent at a lot of things like art and music and shit like that, but I'm not super creative, nor am I the person who sits and spends ten hours a day seven days a week on something because I'm that dedicated to it. I think I have a lot of potential to be good at things, but I dont put the time into it because I'd rather relax and enjoy myself, and I love having a variety of things to choose from. That said, I excel most at things that combine the arts with logic, like knitting, coding, things like that. And music would be the thing I dabble in most.

hello, tumblr!

I'm back from visiting runitsjess for her wedding! I also got to spend a lot of time with sociallyrelevant who I hadnt seen in forever!

I dont think I could ever live in the desert you guys. The cacti were cool as fuck but I was really starting to miss the color green. Arizona has green but it's like somebody turned the saturation down to 20% for shits and giggles. SOB.

The weather was gorgeous though, if not really hot, so that at least felt like home.

Highlights from the week:

impromptu spending a couple of hours completing a 500 piece puzzle in the mall with Brittany whilst laughing at awkward misogyny in oldies

I ended up picking up a really cute puzzle at B&N earlier today, along with a couple of Raikou-centric volumes of Nabari no Ou and a gorgeous copy of Peter Pan. I also got a kawaii top at Pac Sun since the new kawaii trend is strapless bikinis under lowcut tank tops.

Anyway, I need to be up early for work -- just gotta get a load of laundry done and make some dinner before bed. BUT IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK. I missed the kitties so so so very much.
