This Throwback Thursday is honestly a little embarrasing, but hey, we all have to make costumes we aren't super proud of to learn new things! This costume was such a challenge for me, years ago when I made it we had none of the amazing thermoplastics, foams, and material options available now! So I made do with what I had: lots of cardboards, plastics, and yes....those are plastic eyes I made from Mountain Dew bottles 😆 I love Washu, I DID love my wig a lot (dyed and cut myself, made from 2 wigs), and I have another adult Washu costume I still hope to make, at some point (when/if I ever have time!). ❅ I love winter, but only when I'm not working so I can actually wear hoodies and warm hats and shorts and run around and play in the cold. The rest of the year is still pretty awesome, I just really love cold air on my face. I grew up in the snow, so I wax nostalgic for it a lot.

✰  I answered this one the other night. I really dont consider myself as having a best friend in the traditional sense? It takes a lot out of me to invest myself in somebody, so if I'm doing so it's probably because I'm interested in them as more than friends. If you cant tell by my ships, I'm a sucker for best friends doubling as lovers. It's kinda how I've always done it.

Quinn's the friend I'd say I've been through the most with, Jessica's the one I'm a gossipy bitch with and talk the most to, I could make a list of people I'm close to and really enjoy hanging out with but each and every one of them I could name off who their quote-unquote best friend is and it's going to be someone who isn't me. But I've always run in several different smaller circles of friends with a lot of people I really enjoy being with, and the positive side of that is getting to move between groups easily and have fun with a variety of people.

Politics.

Ugh, politics. My family's extremely conservative when it comes to politics, so when they get together it's really aggravating to hear them parrot back all the vitriol and hate that somehow passes as "political discussion."

Any political stance that is completely dependent on tearing down someone else or hating a group of people is bullshit. Period.

I guess that counts as a fact about me?
