I have just started reading the incredible story of Andrii Antonenko in Nobody's Soldier. Taken to a camp with his family for his father's opposition to communism, he and his siblings escaped when he was 8. He travelled around on his own, getting work where he could, and on one trip had his suitcase with his train ticket stolen. For having no ticket, he was sentenced to three years in a concentration camp. He was not yet 14. The reality of communism in #Ukraine.
