You Know What’s Sad?

Do you know what’s really sad? My sister and I went to a RAD(Rape Aggression Defense) class a few days ago. And while we were waiting in the lobby of the police station a mother and her son were sitting there. The son was maybe like four or five. She was at the police station because she was waiting for her son’s father to pick him up. When the father got there he stood at the entrance of the police station. The mother sent her son to his father. But the father stayed want to talk to the mother. I didn’t get what was going on until the father went to his car to put his son in the car and he was coming back. That’s when one of the office I knew came into the station. And the lady talked to him saying that she had a restraining order against her husband and didn’t want to talk to him but that he was trying to talk to him. The officer handled it. But what upset me was that the woman was on the verge of tears. I didn’t know why she had a restraining order against her husband but I could take a few guesses why.

No Hope

I really have no expectations from 2018. Because we are going to repeat same things on we regretted in previous years. Terrorism,Ugly politics, discrimination,crime,hate. These things going to be common again. Humanity is dying. I really don't know what these people were celebrating last night knowing of the fact that millions of people are dying because of poverty. And our so called elected leaders are still passing demogogic statements and people are still voting for them. That's why I have no expectations no hope from 2018.
