Neck praise for Aizawa, please I need to hear you scream more about this

Alright everyone, you all can thank this anon for the full course meal I’m about to serve.

I present to you…

Aizawa’s Neck: a study on why Horikoshi has to cover it with a scarf all the time.

1. That. Adam’s. Apple.  If that doesn’t make you want to kiss his throat, then I’m sorry, but you’re lying. Bonus: it was the reason I had to comment “AIZAWA’S NECK.”

2. His neck is muscular AF. Look how thick thicc and defined it is. THICC. 👏 AND. 👏 DEFINED. 👏

3. It’s literally perfect. Literally. Like, save from derpy panels, it’s not too long, too short, too thick, or too narrow. It’s proportional to him, and one of the subtler hints to how fit and strong he is without having a physically boosting quirk.

4. Basically, if it wasn’t covered by his capture weapon, the pining and thirst for this man would be even more OFF. 🙌 THE. 🙌 CHARTS. 🙌

Why you should comment:

I’m fortunate enough to have produced something people have taken the time to comment on. I never thought much about it until I was writing works and getting feedback, so I don’t blame anyone for not really thinking about it either. 

But now that I’ve been writing and making something, and now that I’ve had a few different experiences, I want to encourage anyone who enjoys what someone’s created- by reading fanfiction, saving fanart, etc- to comment at least once on something they enjoy. Leaving likes & kudos & notes is fantastic- and it does help- so does reblogging and promoting. But if you really want to support your artists and writers, don’t forget to comment, because a simple, “Omg this was so good” or “I loved how fluffy this was” or “OMG *fans self*” is so incredibly validating and encouraging. And if you can leave more than that? I guarantee you’ve made their day even better and brighter. 

It’s an interaction that’s more than a number, and it lets us know that we’re doing something right, because we’ve stirred you enough to make you pause and react. 

Having someone to create for is an incredible motivator. Knowing someone’s excited for more content is just as- if not more- inspiring and exciting than a new idea. 

And on top of that? It’s something that we can look at to remind us that what we’re putting out there matters. I have screencaps of comments that people have left that are in a “Writing Validation” folder on my phone. Whenever I start feeling really down about what I’m doing- when I start to feel like my writing doesn’t matter, or that I’m wasting my time, or that I’m being childish- I look at the comments people have left me to get out of that rut, not the number of likes or kudos or notes. 

So thank you, to everyone who has commented, and thank you to everyone who will comment. It makes a difference.
