Zah Garner is not the typical artist you here coming out of the city of “Brotherly Love”. He just dropped a eleven track EP ironically called “The EP” which stands for the Evolution Process. “Summer Mornings” is the intro to this tape and Zah for a lack of better words leaves you wanting more. Basically an intro into his lyrical skills and life. One of my favorite songs on this tape is “SMOKE&GFU/The Purge produced by Ken10Beats & Si out Pennsylvania. Zah rips this track using multiple flows on this track even referring to it, “Niggas be stealing my shit though, so many flows so go head and take a pick nigga”. “I don’t rock diamonds but I do drop jewels on em’ I’m a clumsy nigga”, by far one of my favorite lines from this mixtape. That line comes from “The Song With No Name” definitely my favorite song, metaphorically breaking down the first time he met this girl (hip-hop). Emotions are poured out on the track “Allen Iverson” produced by Jackel. Very touching and revealing track for Zah talking about dark times and changes he went through in his life. The samples used on the track were perfect bringing so much emotion to the track. Not going to say much about “Not Perfect”, but its a must hear. “ATTACK” is one of two bonus tracks but a needed track for this mixtape, this is a freestyle going off the Kanye New Slaves beat. Overall its a must hear mixtape im sure you won’t be disappointed. Also this is his first tape I was surprised when I learned that because this tape is put together like a veteran. From beat selection, track placement, interludes and most of lyrical content. “Find me a fucking lighter”….
