he   shouldn't   feel   nervous   as   he   looks   at   miguel,   hazel eyes not quite sure where to land,   whether it be on green eyes or   somewhere   on his body.   he's never been to a brothel before,   much less done anything incredibly   intimate   with many people before   (   which   would   surprise   many   ).   he isn't sure why he allowed himself to be put into a situation like this,   maybe it's all the   stress   he's been feeling lately as a newly appointed councillor     ⸻     an   added   weight onto the stress of his inventions.   yet,   the words spoken ease him a little.   not sure where to put his hands,   he decides to put one on miguel's side,   another beside the man's head on the bed.

hovering above of him makes his chest   tighten,   distinctly aware of   why   he was here.   why   he   chose   the   man   before   him.   there's no   denying   the mild resemblance miguel had to his partner      ⸻     someone he desired yet could   never   have.   he's only satiating his   delusions.   ❛   you're  awfully   confident   in  yourself   …   i  shouldn't  be  surprised  considering  you  were  with  ambessa.   ❜   huffed words,   he leans forward and tries to put any   guilt   he's feeling far into the back of his mind.   kissing at miguel's jaw,   he allows himself to slowly enjoy this,   he   needed   it after all.   ❛   do  not  speak  a  word  of  this  with  anyone  else.   ❜   murmured against skin,   he   nips   as if to get his point across.
