man I'm thinking deep thoughts about views on homosexuality in an elf-dominated world is elven culture homophobic? if so, where did they get it? hmmm... maybe it's a dwarf-related thing? dwarves probably have same-gender relations fairly frequently, or what elves would interpret as same-gender relations because dwarves have fairly little sexual dimorphism... so in an attempt to be undwarflike, elves reacted v negatively to same-gender relations? how does that sound?
