I hear you call my name
Grayson didn’t normally fall asleep in places as public as his store (unless he was sure the doors were locked) , hell he rarely even slept, as the dark circles under his eyes could attest to, but he’d felt good today. Had felt soft and gentle and kind, like his old self for once. The reason for his inability to sleep? The nightmares that plagued him at random times showed a weakness he never wanted to admit to. “Grayson!” He twitched at the echo of his sister’s voice cried out. He jolted awake with the sounds of her screaming and the crunching of metal and breaking of glass in his ears. Tears were in his eyes as he took a shuddering breath.
I hear your voice, it's like an angel sighing
“I don’t want to remember that. I don’t want to remember!” He whimpered to himself, unaware of his surroundings. His breathing was shaky and his form trembled as he closed his eyes tightly. “Please, please make it go away.” He whispered, willingly giving himself over to the darkness if it meant he no longer heard Arielle’s voice crying out “Grayson! Grayson!”
I close my eyes, Oh God I think I'm falling Out of the sky
His breathing evened, his form stilled as his eyes opened slowly. The echo of Arielle slowly faded and he smirked faintly as he tilted his head a little bit. “Don’t worry, Little Mermaid, Baby Brother is in good hands.” He chuckled softly to himself as he straightened up.
