i recently rewatched Iron Man (2008) for the first time in a veeeeeery long time and besties i have!!! some thoughts:

Bi!Tony Stark (MCU edition) confirmed within the first 7 minutes of the movie

I like how they set up Tony's future dilemma in CA:CW with his post-rescue speech about how there's been zero accountability in the MIC and how he doesn't want anything to do with that anymore

There's a point in the movie right after Tony ices up in the suit and almost dies falling back where JARVIS says, "If you plan on visiting other planets remove the exoskeleton," which!!!! i had to go lay down upon hearing bc in IW the version of the suit that Tony goes up into space with is the nanobot suit that doesn't have an exoskeleton

There was an undersuit??? i completely forgot he ever had a real full body skin-tight black undersuit in the mcu bc he never wears one again in the whole series :(( Sad!

Tony's ear is bleeding in the scene right after Obadiah Stane uses the sonic taser against him
