Malibu, California
It was one of those days where Evan and I decided to make the beautiful drive to Malibu for lunch. Even though Malibu is only technically a couple miles away, with traffic it can take up to 45mins to an hour to get there. Oh Los Angeles.
Once we arrived to the restaurant we were eating at, Dukes, we were seating right next to the window which was overlooking the ocean. The view alone makes you just want to post up and have a chilled beer. Which is exactly what we did once we got there. I also ate this delicous BBQ chicken salad and Evan had fish n chips.
After our lunch we drove down the Pacific Coast Highway and parked by the beach so we could take a nice little walk and really sink our feet into the sand. Every time I am by the ocean a feeling of peace, serenity and happiness comes over me. Evan and I played on the swing sets for a little bit just like children at the playground and took some cute photos by the volleyball net.
Living in California there are so many places to go and experience, Malibu is a gem that everyone in Los Angeles should love to visit. I love being able to explore this world with my love, it makes little adventures like this so much more magical.
