It's not a very big headcanon yet, mostly just one of those things where I like woke up in a cold sweat and was like "THE VOICES" /ref

Also sorry this is so late anon, I've been a bit busy so I haven't been able to give a proper answer :)

I'm gonna try and keep this shorter than Tom and his mom's relationship dump but here we go:

So the black eye thingy isn't some "ouuhhh he's possessed" thing like most people headcanon or what mild canon we have to suggest that and whatnot, not that I have a problem with that, but it's instead a genetic thing from his mom's side of the family (famously)

Her place of origin doesn't matter too much (but for the sake of infodumping about my HC: she's born in Ireland :) ) other than she fled from there to America with her family to get away from black market head hunters basically

This next part gets a wee bit uncomfortable with talk of body parts and illegal markets so just skip or skim this next block of text if you don't like that stuff but

In the dark web or black market or whatever you wanna call it, you can buy and sell body parts (not exactly LEGALLY, but you can) so I've woven that into this headcanon with the fact that because a good majority of,,, I don't really know what you'd call them but think like the "black eyed kids" story or myth or whatever, basically them, lived in Ireland and neighboring countries, so naturally people wanting to make a profit would flock to said countries to, well, head hunt for their eyes because you can't tell me naturally occuring all black eyes wouldn't come off as supernatural and not urge sick collectors to want it for their collection of fucked up artifacts

So naturally not wanting to, you know, be hunted for sport, Barbara's family moved America in an attempt to get as far away as possible from that (also hahaha land of the free, it's not)

That's about it for the eyes other than her teaching Tom about the dangers of the above but in recent years has kind of winded down

Other information I thought I'd share cause it kinda fits:

- For a timeline of events to explain how Tom's British and whatnot, Barbara and Peter met in New Orleans (where Barbara's family had moved to in the States, a good generation or so before she was born) while Peter went there on vacation (getting away from his parents finally) and they ended up falling in love, getting married, and then moving to Britain and later having Tom

- Ellsworld and Eddsworld USA are usually canonical within the same universe of headcanons I have, like it's not a separate reality thing, they exist within the same timeline of each other, and so that begs the question of: what about Tamara and Tommy? Well Tamara is Tom's cousin, and Tommy... Has zero familial relation to Barbara's family, it's like a different branch of the black eyed people family tree from a staggering amount of generations back type deal. Him also being black like Tom and Tamara is just a coincidence

● Matt is the smartest of the 4 despite how "dumb" he may seem

● matt still has the occasional vampire tendencies and his canines are noticeably longer than his other teeth.

● He likes capes despite how much the others laugh and call em gaudy.

● He doesn't like to be seen in the same outfit twice except his main one.

● Matt has a prosthetic arm after losing it in zombeh attack.

● Matt is paler than the others closer to a vampires skin tone

● He dislikes direct sunlight and hisses an jumps into a dark corner every morning when edd opens the curtains.

● His eyes glow red/pink when he feels a strong emotion eg anger or stress

That's all well not all but some

hc that Edd doesn’t know how to password lock his phone and none of his friends respect his privacy

Tom- posts stupid stuff on edd’s social nets (‘i’m not a furry but i want tony the tiger to cradle me in his arms’ or ‘anyone know how to cook egg’ or ‘my hand is stuck in a toaster i don’t need help i just wanted u guys to know will keep u updated’), responds to any texts edd gets with ‘fuck off’ and sends inappropriate memes to Matt and Tord so they blame edd

Matt- obviously uses Edd’s phone to take an insane amount of selfies, usually with Edd obliviously in the background, may Have Taken NSFW Pics OF Himself and left them for Edd to run across later which always makes Edd scream

Tord- changes background to anime titties or anime dick, keeps downloading random apps, made Edd’s text have rose petals and edd doesn’t know how to fix it

Eduardo- changed the names of all of Edd’s contacts (Tom to ‘eyeless bitch’/ Matt to ‘primadonna girl’/ tord to ‘asshole that blows stuff up’), his contact name is ‘coolest kid in school’ no one knows why

Mark- made Edd’s ringtone the Attack on Titan theme song, moves all of Edd’s apps around bc he doesn’t like how they look, turns up the brightness on the phone so Edd’s eyes get fucking roasted

Jon- plays all the games on Edd’s phone and beats his high scores, made edd have a text signature that is just ‘send nudes’, has thrown edd’s phone out of a window when caught with it

Pau- absentmindedly picks up Edd’s phone all the time and forgets he has it in his pocket then proceeds to help Edd look for it for an hour, has swapped their phones often without noticing, the phone always has grease or oil stains when edd gets it back

Pat- changes the language on the phone to russian and then moves things around so edd can’t even guess how to get back to the settings, took one amazing beautiful picture of Ringo and a slideshow of pics showing Tord fall off the roof, once returned it with a bullet stuck in the case

Alright my personal Headcannon: Edd has a sister and a brother with divorced parents. Matt grew up with four sisters, to which one is a twin. Tom is an only child who's dad died when he was young and grew up w/ his mom. And Tord is also an only child that grew up as an orphan.

I was going to make a headcanon about this actually. I imagine Edd probably got along really well with his siblings. Sure, they’d fight and bicker like regular siblings but they typically were always on the same level. Edd would be pretty neutral about having a favourite parent, and wouldn’t mind staying at either parents’ house.Matt had a lot of sisters, which partially ties into why he’s so vain. He was raised and taught by an only mom who of course, showed him all the ways of beauty and how to look your best. She was a very proud mother and always looked out for her children in regards to self esteem.Tom’s father died when he was really young, which resulted in him typically clinging to a pineapple and calling it his dad, dressing it up like his father (with the glasses) and just pretending it was his dad just so that he could have a father like his friends.Tord, although he was an orphan, so was Jon. That’s how they knew each other from before an got along so well. They would keep each other company and tell each other stories. Tord’s father passed away when he was really young, and his mother became fairly ill while he was still a child and passed away. With no other family to take care of him, he was forced to become an orphan.

Also, for the first time ever, my headcanon lore :))

To explain the last bit anyway

Tord is trans because I'll be damned to not speak my agenda every where, and so he hates letting his hair grow too long, it just ends up being a mullet most the time cause he just can't be bothered to go to the barber

Another reason he doesn't notice when his hair gets so long is because he hates looking in the mirror, but the reason for that will be revealed later on

So anyway he saw his reflection and noticed how long his hair was gotten, got gender dysphoria to a horrible degree with a hint of trauma as we all do and got angry so he punched the mirror as a reflex

And now Tom bandaged him up and is now cutting his hair cause no one else was up

Also yes Tom is left handed

Okay but after the explosion Tord develops PTSD around flames that are uncontrollable and because if did so much damage to his head/face. Tord will get angry easily. Like pat can accidentally step on his foot and Tord would beat the shit outta him. He also has large mood swings

I was actually going to make a headcanon about this in the future, so yes, I see it! Tord had problems with anger control and such during his earlier life, causing him to black out at times when he was too overwhelmed with emotions, typically using anger as a form of release instead of crying and such, resulting in him having violent outbursts. As he grew older and became Red Leader and after all the things he’s gone through it just worsened over time as he developed things such as PTSD and other mental illnesses.
