i think the hubbub that’s still surrounding DOAX3 is proof-positive that the people who complain about this sort of thing do it solely for a shallow sense of faux-moral superiority rather than any sort of egalitarianism or desire for social justice
i cannot think of a more win-win situation, here. the people who want their T&A game can import it no problem, since it has an english translation anyway, and the pretentious pseudointellectuals can feel like they’ve made their industry more “mature” since it technically has no presence in the western market
