The Ewecinox dance is finally to a close! Haven't been too sure of what's been going on? Hostess Milreaf is always watching, even while silent or coughing up spells! (Guys this took me days, please read this because my hands hurt and this kept crashing on me)

Pre-Op Event:

< ALL> Everyone receives their corsages/boutonnieres for the event.
Event One: How Do You Like The Atmosphere Here? (Meet and greet)
<NPC> Opening of Ewecinox Dance.
<Mardi and Yuujin> Both of them end up getting, more or less lost. With one bickering over the other. Eventually Yuujin lands a bit of ways from the mana tunnel, Mardi doesn't want to say it's safer to just stay on the clouds. He eyes something rather hungry from the corner of his eyes.
<Alanis> She finds her own dress in her wardrobe, entering the Calida Lake entrance she muses how Legatus would even allow anyone to use the area. She is soon greeted by both hosts as she obtains her lantern and makes way to find Suffolk.
<Suffolk> Suffolk excitedly tries on her new wear, obviously quite excited about Spring. She wobbles her way into the Calida Lake entrance, making quite a scene. Legatus allows entry with a bit of a mystery. Both hosts raise an eyebrow but tell her of Alanis and hands her a lantern. She suddenly stops and looks around, how will she find Alanis?
<Judas> He finds a note indicating the name of Umbra, as well as a boutonniere. Did they mention this? He already had a carnation...oh well. The carnation wasn't that pretty (it's a death flower in any case!). He asks his butler to take him there. Legatus clearly watches him tooth and nail and allows him to pass. The lantern given by the hosts are a wine color, oh how he thirsts! But no-no, he told himself to lay off the alcohol tonight. Oh where could Umbra be?
<Mardi and Yuujin> Upon landing. Mardi is attacked by a black panther. Although she is rather angry with Mardi, Yuujin defeats the panther. Only at the cost of her arm.
<Antaerion> He notices that there's an event at Calida Lake. Why the hell do you need a giant dragon for that stuff? Oh who cares. He makes his way to the hot springs to cure his potion hangover and overhears a scream.
<Piko> Piko finishes off her fight and has the invitation slap her in the face.
<Umbra> Dressing in the best that she has, she muses how stranger her partner's name is. Judas. Curious. She makes her way to Calida Lake, not being near this for quite some time. Upon gaining her lantern, she looks around. There's too many people here. How many people are here? Where is Judas? She looks over and sees a man, perhaps he knows.
<Jade> It wasn't too long since she's found her note with her partner. She makes her way to the entrance and sees the area all exquisitely designed. Passing by Legatus with ease, she receives her lantern with her name in golden letters. She goes off to see Lady Hakumei.
<Hakumei> She passes by the hostesses hoping to find where Jade was. All short considering that she was surrounding by beautiful sights.
<Alanis> Alanis continues her way to find her partner among the sea of people. She passes by Judas, asking if he was Suffolk. She didn't even need to hear an answer to know he wasn't. He seemed like such a crabby man! Why come if you look like you're miserable? She overhears Suffolk on a table shouting for her, she quickly goes over to her and greets her.
<Judas> Judas returns that he is not Suffolk. He's suddenly very aware of his stature, avoiding any look at Alanis. He continues to look around. Oh dear, there are actually drinks at this dance. But no! He must keep himself sober. As he turns around, he sees another taller woman.
<Umbra> Umbra politely asks if he was indeed Judas. She smirks to herself. Oh goody! A shortie! At least I'm taller than someone around here! She ignores Suffolk's yells.
<Suffolk> Clearly impressed with the impromptu yellow scene, she hurriedly drags Alanis onto the... grassy dance floor. "Let's dance!"
<Summiee> Receives the invitation for the Ewecinox and makes her way to the dance. She takes a rest at Legatus to draw beneath the trees.
<Jade> Jade is getting rather nervous, but this is so exciting! She finally sees Hakumei and introduces herself.
<Hakumei> Hakumei introduces herself to Jade and compliments on Jade's choice of attire.
<Judas> Judas indeed is himself, as he answers to Umbra. Is she mocking him? Or well, he hopes not. He gives her a forced smile. At least...she's very normal. So far.
<Mardi and Yuujin> Mardi begins to give Yuujin a make-shift tourniquet before they head into the dance.
<Ed E. Ott and Catrin> They slowly enjoy each other's presences while teasing one another. Only until Catrin bumps into another man.
<Xero and Leniea> The duo finally makes their way down into the entrance. Leniea although very happy to be there is quite nervous. Xero glares at Legatus, obviously thinking of wanting to kill him. No need to judge! Upon receiving their lanterns, Xero makes a comment on how ugly it is. Despite not really arguing and even mentioning they could switch, they sit down for a good amount of time. Although, too excited. Leniea walks around only to bump into another woman.
<Giegue> Flying in on her prairie dragon form she lands nearby to not harm anyone or anything. Legatus looms over as she hurriedly tries to find her invitation. Once dropping back into Milletian-form, she passes by the hosts. Not intent on receiving a lantern, she makes her way towards the crowd and food.
<Alpha> Passing into the entrance, Legatus glares at him as he passes. The hostesses trying to contain the dragon while handing him his lantern. Oh? Miloriana? I hope she's quite something.
<Kiminia> Kiminia mutters to herself about how her friends set herself up for quite a night. She loudly swears in front of Legatus, collects her lantern and goes on her way to find Pyu.
<Pyu> Pyu hurriedly rushes in, hoping that Legatus hasn't stopped allowing guests in. He hasn't. He rushes in, hoping to find Kimina.
<Xero and Leniea> Xero angrily shouts at Ed E. Ott for assuming that he was gay. He(she?) comments that it was a spell given by someone and will not be reversed until Leniea turns back into a beautiful lady. Leniea apologizes to Catrin, only realizing her(his?) lantern and crushed...how will he get a new partner now?
<Kiminia> She huffs, wishing she could stay by Legatus for a longer period of time. She spots a young man with gray hair. Could this possible be Pyu?
<Pyu> Pyu apologizes for his lateness, casually mentioning that he lost a shoe.
<Kiminia> She quickly tells him not to worry. She wonders if this was some silly blind date or another. She mentions that he has a lovely lantern.
<Pyu> He notices that she is very lovely, and returns the compliment. He overhears that it's time to release the lanterns.
<Mardi and Yuujin> After finally making their way to the entrance, they are halted by Legatus. Mardi retrieved his invitation with ease, but Yuujin didn't. She makes a remark that she'd amputate his arm if he grabbed it from wherever she had it. She produced the note out of her bra (how do people do that) and argues with Legatus before being inside. Once greeted and obtaining the lantern, she makes a remark that she'd hope no more poncy-sounding people talk to her.
<Alpha> Alpha approaches Yuujin, wanting to mess with her. He asks if the panther was a difficult fight.
<Alanis> Alanis takes the lead in the dance, finally feeling a bit more at ease. However she looks around and notices that Judas found his partner, and even notes Giegue transforming back into Milletian form. She also smells the delicious scent of blood, ohh how wonderful...She tries to ignore it with another scent. Is that Suffolk's perfume? It smells lovely.
<Miloriana> Miloriana comes late all donned. She looks at Alpha from afar, feeling that he is menacing. She politely asks if he is indeed Alpha.
<Alpha> He speaks to Miloriana and hands her an ice rose, inquiring about her absence. He mentions that they should get their lanterns, as the event is moving quickly.
<Miloriana> After getting her lantern, she accidentally lets go of the strings (but they fly on their own ////) she realizes this and flies to catch them, now securing them around her wrist.
<Umbra> She looks at Judas and makes a jibe at him. "I thought you'd be taller." it doesn't seem like they'll get along well. Looking around, she notices many other guests. At least...the rest of the guests don't seem boring.
<Judas> He seems half dis-interested and half unfazed at her comment. Although he makes quick remark of her heels. Going on, her decides to venture into the softer...safe topics like hobbies.
<Umbra> She answers his question about hobbies, asking what music he specifically plays. She looks up at the night sky, it sure is beautiful.
<Judas> He plays church music of course. He's a priest, or at least a fill in. Did she believe in Lymilark? Likely not, it was foolish to put faith in a god.

Event Two: Ready To Watch The Stars With Me? (Boat ride)
<NPC> Hosts request that all lanterns are to be released.
<Kiminia> She feels happy that she's slowly opening up to Pyu. Then makes a note that everyone else is releasing their lanterns. She inquires if Pyu is human.
<Pyu>Pyu replies that he is indeed human. Then releases his lantern. He muses that she is likely an elf. Perhaps kitten-like, thinking of how most elves are like.
<Kiminia> She makes a note that she is an elf, and that she is also a trainee and had fled Filia after some issue with Castanea.
<Pyu> He thinks that Kiminia must be well-read, and asks about the literature she has read.
<Kiminia> She goes on about how much she reads. Only before realizing that her lantern was right beside her! Goodie! No more sudden geekiness alert!
<Ed E. Ott and Catrin> Ed gives Leniea their lanterns before going off to fixing this lantern of theirs. Catrin becomes intoxicating and tries to get Ed to have fun. In the end Catrin transforms into a lantern, and before he knew it, she was gone. Replaced with the lantern with Kiminia's name, he goes off on a hunt to find her.
<ALL> Lanterns are released
<Mardi and Yuujin> After their confrontation with Alpha, Mardi calms down Yuujin. They speak about undesirable pasts with incubi. They release their lanterns.
<Umbra> She finishes her chat with Judas, and releases her lantern. She quickly finds that she must talk to Jade.
<Hakumei> She releases her lantern and goes off to see Alpha
<Alpha> Alpha makes a comment on Miloriana's wings. Then goes around to see that he must find Hakumei. He wishes to stay on good terms.
<Miloriana> Miloriana agress to stay in good graces as she finds her new partner Breezelyn.
<Breezelyn> she passes Rutela and makes her way to find Miloriana from her lantern. She freezes as she sees Alpha, her adoptive uncle. Hoping he doesn't see her at all, as he is prone to flirt.
<Xero and Leniea> Both of them enjoy the scenery as they take in time together. Xero only wishes this would last, especially with Leniea being female. When only Leniea receives her lantern, Xero mentions to just go on. Leniea goes off to see Piko.
<Piko> Piko bids adieu to Haloe and goes off to find Leniea. Strange! What a small world, wasn't that the name of the girl she gave soup to? She skips off to find Leniea.
<NPC> Keltaroe goes off onto the lake with Ulreki
<NPC> A fighting ensues while Milreaf has to continually man the lanterns
<NPC> Keltaroe kicks/pushes Ulreki into the lake. While Milreaf yells at them to stop.
<NPC> Keltaroe is dragged quickly after.
<NPC> 4 out of the 10 remaining towels for usage are used.
<Jade> Jade loses Hakumei in the rustling, notices that Keltaroe and Ulreki fell into the lake. Her lantern falls into her hands as she goes off to find Umbra.
<Judas> After chatting, he releases his lantern and sees that he now has Mardi. He sees everyone with different lanterns and partners. He also sees the commotion in the lake.
<Mardi> Mardi receives his new partner and Yuujin makes a lighthearted joke about whether or not it is Alpha. He goes off to find Judas, hoping he wouldn't mind his appearance.
<Judas> After meeting up with Mardi, he finally decides to ignore his appearance and head off into the lake. The spectacular sight sounded a bit too romantic, doesn't it? (Wink wonk)
<Miloriana> She looks around the dance hoping to find Breezelyn. She's caught in awe at the scenery and atmosphere (thank you, I did it mostly myself) when she notices Alpha and bumps into Breezelyn's metal wings.
<Alpha> Alpha nibbles and basically seduces Breezelyn in front of Miloriana. He then heals the poor elven girl. He then notices Hakumei and asks who is her internal friend.
<Miloriana> She is appalled about the sight, but ignoring it she drags Breezelyn into the lake.
<Breezelyn> She tries to explain herself before being dragged. She eventually enters the boat and asks if Miloriana is a Milletian.
<Giegue> She overhears many conversations, priding in the fact that she looks suitable. She quickly turns herself into a sahagin to view the view from the water. Hoping it would look nice.
<Umbra> Umbra notices the impending scene and decides to just wait for her partner.
<Jade> Jade walks up to Umbra, speaking about the commotion. She introduces herself.
<Mardi> Cheerful that Judas didn't really mind his appearance, he gets into the boat. Awkwardly enough, the tension begins to get romantic, and in order to make it end. He mentions he cut off Yuujin's arm.
<Umbra> Practically ignoring Jade, she introduces herself and motions to go on a boat ride.
<Jade> Jade gets into the boat and is astounding by the breathtaking view. It's wonderful.
<Judas> Once in the lake, he doesn't mind Mardi's attempt to end the tension. When Legatus begins his fireworks display, he falls into the lake. Even though rather shallow, he still is completely wet.
<Alanis> She parts ways with Suffolk and notices Ulreki and Keltaroe being pushed into the lake. She makes her way to save Judas, as she notices Giegue in Sahagin form. She then meets Mardi once again. (/cues in romance music )
<Miloriana> She feels bad for dragging Breezelyn. And mentions this was safe and not to worry about Alpha.
<Xero and Leniea> Leniea finally meets up with Piko and thanks her for taking care of her. She guides her way to the boat. Xero from afar, grumbles unhappily.
<Hakumei> she takes a look around at the people and tells Alpha that he smells of no one. She mentions that not everyone must be careful in those boats.
<Piko> Piko falls down and is guided up by Leniea. She suddenly realizes that this is not the same Leniea, rather a very obvious male Leniea. (Ooh la la) She gives an outburst that Leniea is a very handsome boy. (I'd have to agree~)
<Alpha> he ponders on what is inside Hakumei, before giving a kiss on the hand. He motions to the boat and flies himself into the boat.
<Giegue> Giegue goes up to see if Judas is alright, only to be hit by Alpha's boat.
<Hakumei> She didn't realize she'd be carried off so quickly. She hears a thud and wonders what it is. She notices Gie and asks if she is alright before being splashed.
<Xero/Leniea and Piko> They get far off into the boat where the mood gets romantic. Xero gets very jealous. Leniea gives Piko a box with a necklace, even though she is rather flustered at being called cute. Piko is overjoyed at the gift and mentions she should visit more often! Leniea returns she would cook, if Piko would like that.
<Alpha> He laughs at Giegue being hit and offers Hakumei a handkerchief, noting that she looks better being al naturale.
<Mardi> Mardi helps both Alanis and Judas onto the boat. He is mesmerized by Alanis' curls. (Yooooooo) He wonders how he recognized him.
<Judas> Judas finds himself slowly conscious and argues that she was likely talking to him.
<Alanis> Alanis gets hurt and gets into Mardi and Judas' boat. She is entranced by Mardi's French and speaks with him.
<Pyu> Once realizing that he was running late, he sees Yuujin. He's wondering if she's alright. He realizes that she is Milletian because it looks so troublesome.
<Yuujin> Yuujin leaves Mardi off to do whatever, as she collects her thoughts. She begins to wander when she has a sudden break in reality when Pyu talks to her. She runs off.
<Breezelyn> She feels warm from her ride with Miloriana, feeling happy with her presence. She passes by them hoping to find her last partner.
<Umbra> Umbra enjoys the scenery before realizing how lady-like Jade is in comparison to herself. Her enjoyment is short lived as the boat falls in.
<Mardi> Mardi introduces himself and gets intoxicated by Alanis' perfume. He asks if she is Milletian and suggests to see a doctor. (MORE LIKE GET TREATED BY MARDI. WINK WONK)
<Judas> Judas feels sick and disgusted at their behavior. (More like third wheel) He reminisces at his past relations and excuses himself.
<Jade> She is relieved that Umbra is talking to her. She sees that some people got splashed in, and once on land finds more towels.
<NPC> Towel supply decreased by 4.
<Hakumei> She wondered what caused his slip of tongue as she wiped her face with his handkerchief.

Event Three: Is This Not The Finale? (Dance)
<NPC> The dance is winding down to a close!
<NPC> Mabinogi Promenade is announced. While the main host Milreaf begins to retire for the night. The new partners are announced.
<Umbra> Feeling that Jade has left her, she makes her way to the drinks. (It's ok, the drinks are pretty good even though the hostesses aren't old enough to drink) She notices that she must find Suffolk.
<Miloriana> Upon hearing that the main hostess has gone sick, she mentions that she'd send her a card. (Aww you're such a sweetie ;v; ) She sees Kiminia and asks if she is indeed her.
<Kiminia> She turns to see Miloriana. And feels relieved that she is an elf. She asks if she'd like to dance. Though, truth be told she only knows about dances. Not exactly the dance part!
<Giegue> Giegue drops her form as the pain is a bit much. She suddenly falls onto the ground, in too much pain not to mention being unable to see well.
<Alanis> Alanis accepts the towel Jade has given them. She finds herself drawn to Mardi. (THINGS ARE GETTING STEAMY) She finds herself unable to control herself as she finds her lips close to his. But then she breaks away. (aww come on) She notes on the lovely needlework of all the ladies as well as Judas' suit.
<Mardi> Mardi is quite shocked at the turn of events. (Boy, you gotta do something. You can't let a woman slip from your grip) He feels himself needing a drink. He hears his new partner ans asks his current drinking partner Umbra if she is his new partner.
<Judas> Judas answers Alanis, but thinking the two are getting too public. He tries introducing himself, but ends up falling flat. He ends up with the other two for a drink. He hears his name for another partner, but he continues to drink.
<Miloriana> She shakes her head, getting the hair color down. She is glad there is actually no alcohol (everyone has alcohol, shhh) and attempts to dance. While awkwardly, she asks if she's been enjoying this dance. (Like yo, why do people think dances have to be waltz. LIKE BUST A MOVE.)
<Alpha> Alpha gets off the boat and leaves the area. He notices Yuujin and picks her up and leaves.
<Yuujin> She suddenly realizes that she is being picked up. She questions whether or not Mardi had made him a fool or not.
<Kiminia> She begins to dance and answered that she actually wasn't supposed to be there. But she has been enjoying the event nonetheless.
<Jade> She admires Judas' suit, from Alanis' fawning over. As she hears her name, she goes over to Judas as she recognized him. (Can I say your character is so adorbs like... skjlafh)
<Judas> He apologizes for excusing himself, but he feels rather ill at ease for another dance. He wishes not to think of prior affairs...He asks if he could drink something, as he is parched.
<Umbra> She answers no to Mardi's question, and continues to drink. Oh boy, more people. She wished she didn't have to be around so many. Where is Suffolk anyway?
<Alanis> Alanis reminisces on previous relationships as she slowly turns into her succubus form (or is she always in that form..hmm) she bumps into Pyu as she sees Yuujin being gripped by Alpha.
<Hakumei> She wonders what Alpha's deal is before she overhears Mardi asking if Umbra was her. She goes over to him.
<Alpha> Alpha smirks as Yuujin is yelling at him. He grips onto her arm stub as she screams at him. (That sounds so painful) He slowly heals her arm. Soon he drops her over into the lake.
<Miloriana> She thinks back on the two she met earlier. She replies that indeed she met lovely people. They dance awkwardly. They haven't done much but go in circles. (COME ON GET SOME DANCING SHOES)
<Yuujin> Yuujin finally finds herself falling. It might still hurt, but at least the water can cushion her fall and wash the blood off.
<Miloriana> She walks away and notices Alpha with Yuujin but ignores it. She sits by a tree before making her way to the bar. (I KNEW YOU'D FIND IT) She gets herself a few drinks before ending the night.
<Mardi> Mardi mentions about the amputation when he thought it might be best to clean those banda- HOLY CRAP IS THAT YUUJIN. HELP HELP. ANYONE HELP.
<Jade> Jade herself is parched, but goes for the virgin stuff. She notices Mardi leave and asks if they could join Umbra.
<Judas> Even though he'd rather not be near the rather...heeled-elf, he does go with her. He notices Mardi going near a girl who likely would not make it up to shore herself. He doesn't bother to help.
<Alanis> She looks up to hear Mardi's cries and goes to help Yuujin. Once at shore, she realizes Mardi has called for her.
<Umbra> She noticed Mardi dash off and sees Jade and Judas approaching her. Crap. At least, she can't be too awkward with Jade with Judas around!
<Jade> She notices that Alanis had swam into the lake to save Yuujin while asking for permission to sit with them.
<Umbra> Umbra tries to be spiteful to Judas, but she gives up because Jade is there. She Inquires if either of them know of Suffolk.
<Judas> Judas is glad that he doesn't have to help someone as he notices Alanis. He remembers of Suffolk, not well but...why give it to someone who teased him?
<Alpha> He notices Mardi being angry and Alanis saving Yuujin. He sees the fallen Giegue and doodles faces on her with a broken dye ampoule. Before scurrying away to the alcohol he revives her.
<Yuujin> SHE'S ALIVE (enters frankenstein music) she thanks Alanis and blurts that she is a cool glowy fish.
<Mardi> He gracefully leaps into the lake (how2gracefullyleapintolake) for Yuujin, he's even more grateful for Alanis and waits for Yuujin to stop her blurting.
<Umbra> She got pissy with Judas' smug manner. She calms down once she sees Jade. She goes off to get another drink, tapping on Suffolk's shoulder.
<Judas> He smirked when Umbra left, although apologized for her behavior to Jade.
<Giegue> SHE'S ALSO ALIVE. (Enters more frankenstein music) she notes on Alpha's artistic endeavors. She sees Yuujin all safe. Although she's late on saving and knocked out for a short period of time, she walks to the mana tunnel to walk home.
<Hakumei> Hakumei walks around, still feeling iffy about Alpha. She notes on the saved Yuujin, and mentions she would've helped, if she knew what was going on.
<Alanis> she cheerfully accepts the fish comment. And tries her best to stay away from Mardi and keeping her wings hidden. She goes off to find Pyu again while she bids farewell.
<Suffolk> Suffolk turns around a little more than tipsy. She's quite confused.
<Jade> She is starting to feel sleepy. She asks Judas if she'd like to dance before the event ends.
<Umbra> Umbra inquires if she knows who Suffolk is. Then she downs her drink. (How do you people drink man.)
<Judas> He didn't stall enough. Damn. Well, shall they dance? (spoilers, they do)
<Suffolk> She claims that she is Suffolk. She apologizes for her spacey nature.
<Jade> She agrees and makes her way to the dance floor. Say, don't the men lead?
<Umbra> She is glad she found her partner. She asks for the dance, hoping Suffolk would lead...considering dexterity doesn't go around in all the body.
<Yuujin> After seeing Alanis leave, she questions if Mardi would dance with her. Seeing as though she left the boating event and the dance partner was yet to be seen.
<Judas> Judas leads the dance. Apparently he's learned quite a few dance moves from a previous life. He's not doing too well with how clumsy he is.
<Jade> They have their one dance, before Jade realizes that Judas should probably sit down. (I'm sorry you couldn't finish on time ////)
<Judas> Happy that the dance is over, he makes his way to his butler. He coughs with the incoming smoke and his hangover but...he'll deal with it later.
<ALL> All participants leave.
<NPC> Milreaf begins to dissipate all the decorations back down.
<NPC> Keltaroe feeds Legatus his almighty feast that was to be waited.
<NPC> They both give him a long dragon bath before heading home exhausted.
EWECINOX EVENT HAS ENDED. ///// YOU'RE STILL FREE TO POST FOR THE REST OF THE EVENT/EPILOGUE, BUT ANYTHING BEYOND THIS POST WILL NOT BE COUNTED FOR THE REWARDS.
Umbra was a bit surprised this girl was Suffolk, but as soon as she finished talking, Umbra said, "Oh I'm glad to have found you."
She looked behind her to see Jade and Judas starting to dance and remembered that the last event of the night was a dance, and turned back to Suffolk.
"So we're supposed to be dancing. I hope you're good at it, so you can help me."
Despite having dexterous fingers from archery, playing music, and sewing, her feet were not equally skillful. Hopefully Umbra wouldn't screw up the dancing and make a big fool of herself. She wouldn't let Judas have the satisfaction of seeing her dance terribly.
She noticed she felt a little light headed after her two shots of whiskey.
Maybe I'll get another after we're done dancing. A third shot wouldn't hurt.
Umbra grew impatient, watching him tap his finger on his lip, especially because it seemed like he was taunting her by not divulging anything after he muttered that phrase.
"Well, if you know it, then why don’t you just fucking say it already?" Umbra spat out with silent anger, almost ready to fight him. Her smile was gone, and she was now sitting in a slightly hunched position, similar to a predator tracking down its prey, both arms on the tabletop.
His attitude is really pissing me off right now. I want to wipe that smug smile off of his face. Maybe a punch in the face can do that just fine.
She was ready to deliver a blow until she looked at Jade, who hadn’t uttered a word since Umbra had brought up Suffolk. Jade’s calm demeanor reminded Umbra of a person she once knew, and calmed her down. She sat back down in a more relaxed position.
Remembering how her glass was empty, she felt like she needed a bit more alcohol to cool her head down.
"I’ll be back, I’m just getting some more drinks," Umbra said to the two.
She got up and walked to the table with bottles of beverages and poured herself another glass of whiskey. When she put the bottle back down, she remembered the brunette she noticed earlier, and realized she was close by.
They probably wouldn’t mind if I took a little bit longer to get back to the table.
With that in mind, Umbra walked over to the girl, and tapped her shoulder.
Umbra looked at Jade sitting across from her and replied, "Of course I don't mind," with a slight smile, then turned to Judas and smirked at him.
Except for you, Umbra thought silently to herself.
She drank a bit of the water from the melted ice and tried to think of other ways to torment Judas, except she was now ambivalent about the idea of poking fun at him at the presence of Jade. Lacking ideas, she gave up and decided to wait for either Jade or Judas to start the conversation.
Umbra looked around her for her partner. She saw a brunette human girl clad in a yellow dress.
Kinda makes me think of that other woman who jumped into the lake--
She realized that this human girl and the dark skinned woman from earlier were partners from the first event upon arriving to the party. Now that she thought about it, Umbra never found out their names, even though they were located pretty close to her and Judas.
"Do you guys know the names of the two in yellow?" Umbra asked to the pair sitting across from her. "And do you guys know anyone named Suffolk?"
