“I swear it’s been forever since I’ve been outside longenough to breathe fresh air,” you complained as you stared down at the presspack who were gathered at the hotel doors. “Do they ever take a day off?”

Calum walked up behind you and wrapped his arms around yourwaist, resting his chin on your shoulder. He looked at the gathering ofphotographers and reporters before kissing the exposed skin on your neck.

“I don’t think they believe in holidays, babe,” he said witha small laugh. “I know it’s fucking awful to be stuck inside but one day, Ipromise you I’ll get you the biggest garden and you can spend hours making upfor the fresh air my tours cost you.”

You turned to face him and rested your hands on his chestlightly. “I don’t mind because when I see you on stage, you look so happy. I’dnever breathe again if it meant I got to see you look that happy all of thetime.”

He pressed a kiss to your forehead then looked at you. “Iknow it’s not ideal though, I know life on the road isn’t glamourous or anythinglike what you signed up for.”

“But it’s how I get to spend my life with you, Cal,” yousaid softly, “and I’m okay with that.”
