Anybody else remember Acitius/Aftermath Zone? I actually tried getting back into it late last year, tho it was pretty much a deadzone by then- and then I forgot about it for a month or two, only to randomly remember again and try to go back- but have the home page declare that it was being shut down, and to go check out a site called Exabyss instead. Now, I do actually play Exabyss; it’s a wildly different game, and very early on in its lifespan/development. But I’m kind of annoyed that I can’t go back to Acitius when I just started trying to get back into it. I remember always wanting a Lucan...

To make matters even worse, I’m starting to forget the names and basic personalities of some of the characters I had on there. I can remember a lot of the important/oldest ones, but some of them are being forgotten, and I don’t like it. I can’t even go back to remind myself who and what everyone was.

I know it’s a pithy thing to be concerned about, but some of these characters are technically over ten years old at this point. I never did much with them outside of the website, but I did, early on, bother to at least try to give most of them at least basic information. I wish there was a way for me to look at it, at least one more time; there’s hardly anything for the site on the Wayback Machine, and certainly not any profile pages for barely active users (tho I did manage to find the bare bones of the Veruca NPC’s profile page, after a lot of digging- mostly because I had forgotten who she was, or at least her name; ironically I did remember Matilda rather well- this is mostly irrelevant except in that a certain item on Exabyss is named after the former, rather than the latter, which would make more sense to me, personally).
