　　Tick tock, tick tock... The wall clock? He was becoming aware of something. It was a small epiphany, but much more miraculous. As he sat there with his nose in another strategic book, Shulk realized. He’d been spending a lot of time at the library today--- too much. So quiet. Looking around, it seemed like he was the only one still here. Even Robin had left before him. At this rate, today would be over, and he might miss dinner.

　　Placing everything back on the shelf, he turned around... 　　And saw someone.

　　“Chrom....?!” Pure surprise. That said, Shulk’s expression didn’t match the volume of his voice. Even in this random (and sort of shocking) situation, he was still trying to be quiet. It was definitely a habit.

"Heey, if it isn't the good ol' Chrommander-in-Chief! How's it goin'?" Henry waved heartily in greeting, rather casually to the Ylissean royalty, the motion disturbing a now mildly annoyed crow that had been resting on the mage's shoulder.

Feathers ruffled, the bird cawed loudly in complaint before a shining glint from part of Chrom's armor seemed to catch its attention and it decided to abandon its current perch to instead land inquisitively on the blue-haired man to investigate.

"Oopsie," Henry snickered, not sounding sorry in the least as the crow cawed obnoxiously again, this time likely right into Chrom's ear. "I think he likes you, though!"

(casually swoons in Chrom being in real regal attire. WHO AM I KIDDING I DESIGNED SOMETHING LIKE THIS FOR SUCH AN OCCASION.)

Alexandria felt her heart skip a beat when she spotted Chrom in the cluster of people. He did…clean up very well, didn’t he? As expected of the exalt.

"He actually knows how pants work. I’m surprised.” she commented quietly. She just watched, staring from across the room gently, trying not to be obvious.

(Also, she cleans up very well too. Have fun, Chrommie.)
