Killed my long run today! 14 miles with 4x1 mile @ 7:20 pace (7:22, 7:22, 7:18, 7:19). I took a super nice nap afterward, guess this run wore me out 😴 Only 3 weeks now until the Excalibur 10 Miler!

I’ll never understand how run recovery works- yesterday I ran 14 miles on actual garbage for legs, and yet somehow my legs felt amazing today? Five easy miles, except for 0.3 miles where I was trying (successfully!) to snag a spot on the strava segment leader board 😉
Track Tuesday was a little less than successful today 😒 I was supposed to do 10x400 @6:30 pace, but only made it through 4 (1:37, 1:36, 1:37, 1:36) before the high school track team showed up and kicked me out. So I decided to just enjoy the warm weather and take the rest of my run easy by the lake!
Totally smashed today’s workout! 6 mile onion run + 1 mile cool down. I finished the onion with a 23:05 5K (fastest 5K since my stress fracture and ~1 min slower than my PR) and a 7:07 mile! Wow wow I feel so fast and strong and badass today 🏃🏽♀️💪🏼
Easy 8 miles by the lake! I think spring is finally here? 🌸🌼
Today started off a little crappy, but there’s nothing like a good run to turn your day around! This run felt comfortably hard, but I definitely had a few more repeats left in me. I’m still amazed with how much faster I’ve become over the last year!
1 mile warm up 4x1 mile repeats (7:14, 7:12, 7:13, 7:08) with ½ mi easy between 1 mile cool down
I think my easy pace is finally getting faster again??
Another successful run home from work 🏃🏽♀️
