I know I keep sharing random snippets from my Wicked reaction Fic, but I can’t help it, they’re just so interesting! What was intended to be just a reference to how the original broadway actors for Elphaba and Glinda appear in Wicked ended up with the three farmhands getting so close, yet so far from figuring out what happens to Fiyero and Boq:
The two female performers sing about how the prophecy had been fulfilled, slowly making their way over to Elphaba and Glinda, pulling them into the performance.
Hunk squinted at the two female performers;
“Is it just me or do they seem really similar to Glinda and Elphaba somehow?” He thought aloud
“No, it’s almost uncanny, it’s like they’re counterparts even though they’re also in Oz” Hickory agreed
“Maybe it’s possible for such counterparts to exist, I mean, you two have noticed how similar you both are to Fiyero and Boq, even though we know your counterparts are the Scarecrow and Tin Man, perhaps you have multiple?”
“Fiyero picked up on that when we were talking earlier, perhaps we are their counterparts as well” Hunk agreed,
“That would mean they also have counterparts in the constructs too, right?” Hickory noted
“I suppose they would, it does fit pretty well, they are surprisingly similar to them” Zeke considered
“Does that mean I also have a human counterpart in Oz somewhere?” Brr cut in from where he had been sitting beside Zeke
“You could” His counterpart suggested.
