unless you want something specific, you almost never have to buy vases new. vases are one of the first items to go out on the table on a garage sale. they're also typically very numerous at antique stores.

plastic plants are numerous, colorful, and they don't need upkeep. basic protocols with regards to pets still apply (don't let cats near dangly things, don't put them in places your pet can get their mouths on it, be aware and monitor if it's unavoidable) especially if you're worried about potential ingestion. but, you don't have to worry about outright poisoning your pets on accident.

one of my hobbies/interests is collecting antique vases and picking at the dead corpse of my local joann's until they went out of business made me realize i could live the dreams i had as a child of buying all the plastic plants in a crafts store. because now i had somewhere to put them.

it's a real brightening presence.

emmet just stake out the place, roll into the grass at right time, throw a berry out to distract the mamoswine, and then hit that alpha with a gigaton ball while it's not looking!! then u will have a new giant pokemon!!!

It honestly doesn't occur to Emmet that you CAN catch them until Akari comes back to Jubilife one day with an Alpha Bibarel in tow. So it is possible! He asks her how she did it, and she eagerly tells him. Emmet nods, listening to every word, and the next day he's off to the Icelands.

Now, he could catch the Alpha Mamoswine that has been plaguing him all these years (how does it find him EVERY TIME?), but he has a better idea. Instead he seeks out the Alpha Swinub. He catches it following Akari's advice, with a few modifications... there's not much grass in the Icelands!

Emmet smiles to himself. He will train this one up, yup! And when he does, it will be better and stronger than the one that's been tormenting him. He will take it down and prove himself the strongest, yup! He is looking verrry forward to it.

But right now he is running, because that damn Alpha Mamoswine found him AGAIN.

The thing about being an artist is that you most likely feel the need to push yourself into perfection because there's a big possibility that your art is the only skill you've properly nurtured throughout your life, and, if you're not GOOD at the thing you've been doing for over a decade nonstop, studying it, re-studying it, practicing it, changing and reshaping it, then the only skill you've properly, lovingly built over your life is useless and therefore, in your head, you are useless

Driving in the big city is like, I don't give a damn about any of you, I will fucking go, if god wanted me to drive in a sane way he would have laid these roads out reasonably. I will follow the anarchy suggested by the old masters of the no-pattern, the engineers who planned these roads. The sounds of buses honking at me do not bother me. The sounds of agitated speeders swerving into oncoming traffic to avoid my path do not bother me. I am one with these streets, and google maps is my oracle. I will not falter in fear, break for a yellow light, or diverge from the sacred blue path.
