Vampires on TV are always lying around moaning about how meaningless immortality is, but what do they expect when all they do is sleep all day and then go clubbing.
#the guys on qaf realized that was a shallow existence in like S1#except maybe brian#where are the vampires who are like#excellent now I finish my research#write those novels#coordinate long term conservation projects#and promote accurate representation in history like I was there mortals I should know#but no they just hang around the club being existential angst hipsters
