I’ve been dreaming of painting this since I saw it first at the cinema, such a painful and well-acted scene from both Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner. That head touch broke me.

I’m still experimenting with colour and colouring in SAI as well, which lacks the Colour mode from PS but I was able to achieve this with an overlay layer, set at about 65% opacity. I found it works similar to something I’ve seen to a Bob Ross video, where he applied wet blue and red paint on a dark canvas and used white and greys to bring the colour out.
