So this man (GM) is eyeing his ex-girlfriend (Hae-Eun) who’s touching the hands of a man (Hyun-Gyu) that is interested in her. They are on a Korean show called Transit Love 2/[Exchange 2] where ex’s come on the show to decide if it’s really over or they date others. I didn’t watch this show from the first episode, I’ve only watched from episode 15 and I came to the conclusion I really don’t like him.
I’ve seen comments about his character at first but I tried to remain objective. His attitude towards her was nasty and I said possibly he’s decided to be completely negative to get her to move on. She would cry for the love she still has for him, she’s basically mourning the death of the relationship. (GM) made the choice to sever that arm, cut ties, quit cold turkey, as a possible tactic in my mind. Even still his actions were sinister and the pursed lips put me off. I let everything slide UNTIL...
This man had the gall to say that he was JEALOUS of his ex showing affection to a man who wanted her. He dismissed her like a dog on many occasions, laughed in her face as she cried and begged, he has dated other women in the house, but claimed jealousy as though his feelings were genuine. A woman who you were with since age 21 for 7 years... at 29 and the many women he’s dated, you feel jealousy with the first man that’s paid her attention. I wanted to kick him. This is why I can’t watch reality TV... it makes me emotional. I do not have the temperament. (GM) didn’t stop there... On a conversation night, a one-on-one, he was so vexed by her happy behavior (she was drinking, the hand touching began) towards her new man... He titled her date/hand holding with the new man (Hyun Gyu) as a FLING. He did it In an effort to shame her, so she would stop seeking her own happiness. As he corrals around with other woman on the show, one who she has to share a bedroom with... He can have fun... but she can’t...
He has a disgusting character... he is toxic. To try to stop her from finding new love out of spite, not out of true love, is beyond selfish. This was his opportunity to praise her for moving on but instead he wanted to hold her head under water and make sure she continues to pant for him. I hope she allows Hyun Gyu who has adored her since day one of entering the house to appreciate all her qualities. As far as I’m concerned (GM) eyes can burn from envy and her happiness.
