You know, I signed up as a pinch hitter and I never got assigned anything. I did not sign up for Johnlock or Mormor but would like to know how this works? Please tag this as exchangelock as I am not following you.

I am currently putting the five pinch hits in a google doc and will gladly send the list to anyone wants to see if they would like to grab a prompt. There will be instructions for claiming a prompt inside the doc.
I'd rather not post the doc publicly just because I'd like to still try to surprise the people missing gifts.
Hi there guys, I've had some slots open that I need pinch hitters for. If anyone is interested in helping out, I have four johnlock and one mormor slot.
I want to thank our pinch hitters for exchangelock. After having written nineteen fics between the last two exchanges (three of which are still ongoing WIPs) for pinch hits (plus my two original fics) I was a bit terrified going into this round.
But our pinch hitters have been coming through in spades and I just want to thank you all.
I'm posting this in the exchangelock tag in hopes that people will see it.
At this point, everyone has been checked in with and has either said "I'm terribly sorry, I'm late!" or did not respond and I have assigned a pinch hitter for your gift.

Hello, this is omtivi that didn't post his nov-dec/holiday-themed exchangelock by the due date. I am sorry for the anon but I am having problems with logging in to Tumblr and I feel I should answer your ask the soonest I can. I apologise for having not checked my e-mail earlier, and for not posting my gift before life swooped down on me, but should I still post the gift? Things have calmed down and I can do it this weekend. Once again, I am really sorry for the trouble I've caused.
Omtivi! Hi there. Obviously I have to answer this publicly because you're having problems logging in.
First of all, we absolutely understand things happen! It's why we ask for pinch hitter volunteers to start with.
Second, I have asked for a pinch hitter to step in for your gift! But that doesn't mean you can't post the one you have. If someone winds up with two late gifts, that's okay! But that also takes the pressure off you!
Third, take care of yourself. Life happens and I'm sorry things have been so hectic for you!
In summary: Post your gift if you can, if you can't, it's okay. Take care of yourself and be assured, no one is angry with you!
