"You are standing in front of the strongest level five esper in Academy City, Accelerator, the one who has control over vectors" With a light tap of the pebble, and the shift of a few vectors, the rock went rocketing through the air at such a speed when it hit the building a few yards in front of them, there was an indent the size of a wrecking ball.

"Any questions?~"

He firmly in place, arms crossed and eyes following their actions diligently until the last second. His serious expression never faltering, not even for the loud crashing sound that resonated from the newly wrecked building the other had destroyed for the sake of an example. But, when it came time for questioning.. "Academy City." He had several responses.

"Who does it answer to?" That was perhaps not explanatory enough, he realized as he slid his eyes shut, rephrasing himself. "More specifically, who is Satsuki Kiryuin to you?"

It was only a matter of time before Gaius slipped back into his old thieving ways. Of course, since he had no idea who to sell to around these parts he was mostly doing it for himself. And the only thing he cared about enough to keep, was candy. 

Confectionery stuffed into every possible part of his clothing, the thief quickly made his exit from the store, being extra careful that the strawberry bonbons he'd tucked into his pants didn't fall too uncomfortably low. 

Gaius frowned. He practically crunched as he walked, and the plastic was way too itchy against his skin. What was with the packaging on these things? What happened to good old cloth? At that didn't have edges that threatened to tear his skin whenever he moved. Mind lost in his own thoughts as he slipped between people on the street, it didn't take long before the thief crashed into someone before him, stumbling backwards. How unprofessional. 

A crumpled box of chocolates flopped to the floor pathetically at the thief's feet from under his shirt. His eyes widened. Shit, how was he supposed to explain something like that. Glancing up at the stranger he'd rudely crashed into, he waited for a reaction. At the very least, he should be able to talk his way out of things if they got too suspicious.
