its so interesting as a representation of what not fulfilling the heteronormative ending does to some of the fans, also the use of "children" and "marriage" as things that will happen sooner or later, undeniable even if theres nothing pointing out at that direction... The institutions of marriage and the nuclear biological family as ways to confirm a het ship... those institutions serving the purpose of oppressing the lower classes and women into particular standards of lifestyle, gender dynamics as destined endings... The need to prove heterosexuality in a hero manga, to the point its unthinkable to believe these characters could not get married and have a biological family...
