Cardio: base pace on upright bike, 35 mins lvl 3, 5/5 w/c lvl 1

Strength: separated row 40 lbs (2:12), pec fly/delts 30 lb (2:12), tricep ext 35 lbs (2:12)

Recovery pace on upright bike, 40 mins lvl 5, 5/5 w/c lvl 1

She didn’t want to wear me out so I can be fresh for my test.

Tuesday 4/29

Worked with T and J (M’s boss)

Will know my official results tomorrow, but I made it over 10 mins and VO2 of at least 30!

Apparently they can also take your pulse through an ear clip instead of the finger pulse oximeter, who knew?

Week 5, Exercise Test 2

Worked with A, T, and M (intern)

During 10 min standing test, blood pressure kept jumping between 120 and 130.

Lasted longer than last time at 9 mins 24 sec.

HR hit 190s.

Tried to cool down but ended up lying on the table anyway for recovery.

No complimentary Gatorade this time. :( They were out.

A thinks M (phys) will get her wish to work me harder in the upcoming days haha.

8 mins on upright bike, 3.5 mins recovery

Good day so not super symptomatic. Stable BP during 10 mins standing. HR hit 180s on bike.

Note: 6 other POTS patients in the program, they all prefer blue Gatorade so I guess that’s what I’m drinking too.
