WHY ARE THERE NO ACT MEMES
To everyone who took the June 2019 ACT Exam today, I hope it went well! I realized alot of students at my testing center were unprepared because they forgot to bring some items, so here’s a list of things you should remember to bring for your ACT exam day!
1. Extra #2 Pencils (make sure they’re wooden) - you should always have backups incase you lose one or if one breaks. Also, other testers may forget to bring theirs, so it’s always nice to have extras.
2. A watch (that doesn’t beep) - the ACT is notorious for having strict time constraints so it can be very helpful to have a watch available so you can pace yourself throughout the exam. I’ve also noticed that some classrooms don’t have clocks so bringing a watch can be a life saver.
3. Water & small snacks - the exam is around 3 hours long, it’s definitely not a short one. So bringing water and small snacks can help fuel your brain during the 15 minute break you get between the math and reading sections. Just make sure you don’t drink too much water because it may make you want to use the restroom during the exam, and that would just waste your valuable testing time.
4. Extra calculator or extra batteries for it - although calculators aren’t necessary for the math section, they can be very helpful for time consuming problems, such as ones that deal with trigonometry. Your calculator could always die or glitch during the exam, so the best thing you can do is it be prepared. I always bring my TI-84 graphing calculator as my primary, and my Casio scientific calculator as my backup.
5. Photo ID and ticket - Lastly, don’t forget to bring a photo ID and your test admission ticket! You will not be able to take the exam if you don’t bring either, this is very important.

I need help
I’m taking the act test Saturday and I’m doing the writing portion too but I don’t know how I should write it. One of my teachers said I should pick one of the three perspectives that’s closest to mine and write each of the three body paragraphs with a different example for why that perspective works.
For example she gave us a practice act prompt that was about failure and success. There were of course three perspectives. I choose the one that said success can come from failure and so the three body paragraphs were each a different example of failure turning into success.
BUT in the practice test I took at home it tells me to compare my perspective with one or more of the others. I looked up examples and the one I found it had the first two body paragraphs back up the chosen perspective and then the third is used to compare it with a different perspective. So my question is which am I suppose to do??
