The feline woman had a very bad habit of falling asleep on the job, and maybe her job wasn’t the best job to fall asleep during. Babysitting her best friend’s daughter wasn’t hard by any means, the girl was always so well behaved, so normally falling asleep wasn’t a problem. The human world was still strange to her and technology confusing, so sleeping was her favorite‘hobby’. She never even heard the child make her little noises and such, she had pretty much come to block most them out while taking her cat naps.
When the child was done and now laughing up a storm, the expirate finally sat up with a lazy cat like blink. “Hmmn?”, she practically hummed out from tired lips as she yawned and stretched. A brow raised as she laughed slightly at Annie, "What are you doin’ lass?" It didn’t take her long to know she had defiantly been up to something. When she she saw the eyeliner pen Shira tilted her head before putting two and two together. She lazily got up and walked to the bathroom to check her face before busting up laughing at the messy design. She playfully growled and ran back swooping up the little pup, “You know I am going to have to eat you now right?” Her voice came out in a playful tease as she jokingly smirked at her, “Would you prefer to be cooked with carrots or peas?”
She's still in a fit of giggles when Shira walks out of the bath- room, so much so that there are little jewels of tears lurking in her green eyes. If anything the sight of the blonde woman looking like that once more makes her laugh, and so does the fact she's suddenly swooped up into her babysitter's arms.

Annie's latest favourite story was Brer Rabbit, and, oh, she got the most ingenious idea from that story, even as she giggles away in Shira's arms.
