The point of play group was to introduce Gabe into other kids and socialize
him with his peers, though that idea was hard to accomplish considering
the pup seemed perfectly content with being on his own. Cerberus peered
at the group of kids almost debating taking Gabe with him until he had felt
the little plastic ball touch his hands. A smile crossed the papa wolf’s face
as he picked the item up and watched Gabe move off to get another one.
Well at least he was playing just not with the group of kids. Gabe seemed
perfectly okay to play with him.
He toddled back over to papa with a blue ball in his hand this time, giggling
as he walked shakily every step of the way. When he reached his papa,
Gabe presented the ball to him in his open palm; it was too big for him to
hold it in his fist, it’d fall. The boy bounced on his little legs, chuckling to
himself as he waited for papa to take the ball. He was only meant to play
with the balls in the pit, but Gabe didn’t take well to following the rules, he
was only a baby, and there weren’t many rules at home for him to listen to.
