okay. for the lab partner - elevator - mcdonalds ask game:
yugiri mistwalker, aymeric de borel, and spock.
hmmm. well, i certainly wouldn't mind being trapped in an elevator for 10 hours with any of them O< Not sure how much I've posted abt him on here but I think Spock was one of my first fictional crushes, and anyone who's been following me for a while probably knows my feelings on Aymeric and Yugiri.
Spock would pretty clearly be the best lab partner - he's literally the Enterprise's science officer, and also, the other two are from a world with technology far behind ours, so would need a lot of help with background knowledge. They'd have a good attitude but just not have the knowledge needed to be an effective partner.
I feel like Yugiri would tolerate being trapped in an elevator less well than Aymeric; he's used to being in the same small space for a long time (SQUEENIX FREE HIM FROM HIS OFFICE. PLEASE.) They'd both be good people to train you at McDonald's because they're both people who have proven themselves in leadership positions, but I think Yugiri would be more likely to encourage you to defend yourself against bitchy customers (Aymeric would obviously support you however he can but might be more worried than Yugiri about the potential blowback on you from management, assuming they're not the manager of the McDonald's. He's always thinking about political consequences, while Yugiri makes more aggressive decisions like trying to assassinate Zenos.)
