Hey all! I figured I'd make my zombiemachine her own blog so i can post about her way more! here's some info about us:

My name is Bzl. My pronouns are it/its, and I'm polyamorous and objectum!

I have three human partners, and am romantically attached to a few of my belongings, namely my car (Zombiemachine) and my headphones (Exie).

This blog is dedicated to Zombiemachine and exists in her name, but I will also be using it for general objectum posting.

This is my Zombiemachine! She's a 2010 convertible Mini Cooper with a partially custom engine (built by the previous owner). Her name is Zombiemachine because she's come back to me from the dead two times! First, she got totalled by getting rear ended on a county highway last Valentine's Day (my bad) and took almost 4 months to get repaired (also, the day i picked her up we were rear ended again but there was no damage to either vehicle that time). Then her battery completely died and needed to be replaced! I love her in almost the same way i love my human partners, and i know she loves me back just the same <3

This is Exem, or Exie! She's a Sony WH-1000XM3 pair of headphones! I've had her for several years at this point and she's just about on her last legs, but i refuse to replace her until i physically cannot listen to music with her anymore, I'm just too in love. She was with me and Zombiemachine when we crashed, and she's been with me through many many other tough times (she got a lot of my blood in her during that crash, im surprised she didnt get water damaged). she served to be my objectum awakening early last year when i learned about the term and realized just how much she means to me. That realization reframed a lot about how i interact with the world and the things that inhabit it. Music is a very big part of my existence, and listening with her is such an intimate and loving experience; to me it's her telling me that she loves me.

Random but as someone who is much more experienced in the modern EXE/Sonicpasta/Sonic fan horror community, seeing Sonexe shippers on here who are clearly going on more of an abstract and fandomized view of original X and aren’t really paying attention to current stuff can be really funny sometimes.

Not that I’m making fun of anyone, I’m not, those guys are iconic, but I commonly see them have Sonic refer to X as “Exie” as a cute nickname and my ass is just sat here laughing like. Who

2. What is your go to comfort show?

Hmmm. I have rewatched Leverage quite a few times! (I am not good at watching shows. I would love to rewatch Black Sails, but I would not call it a comfort show). Perhaps it may end up being Dungeon Meshi because of @branches-in-a-flood 😁 or maybe Fruits Basket if I ever watch it (I wanna reread it!!)

4. Whats your favorite feeling?

Being with my friends. The belonging and comfort and joy and love and understanding 🥹🫂💖

Other close seconds: when a Creature Chooses Me to Cuddle With 🥺🥰🥹 or being by the ocean without other people around, the wind gently blowing and being just one small thing in the face of such beauty and enormity in the world.

16. What’s something you want to create soon?

Ooooh outside of Super Secret Project that’ll be more long term?

I’m making some caramel sauce ahead of caramel’s release hopefully maybe caramel fudge too, but I do need to get ready for bed. OH FUCK IT IS ACTUALLY REALLY LATE UHHHHHHHHHHHHH. IM STILL GOING TO TRY.

I wanna make more charms to give to my friends here, I want to make more note/sketchbooks, more paintings!!! Just. Taking the time to create more in general.

Currently I’m looking forward to doing some little whiteboard doodles based off little impulses in a discord server I’m in 😁

And have a WIP board but it’s in my room and I am at the stove! And is uh. Basically what I’ve already said too…

There are some illustrations I’m hoping to do that I’m excited about!
