“What do you think is at the river that you can’t go near?” Andromeda’s voice seems like it floats in the air, hanging there and she shifts uncomfortably. “What do you fear, that sits at the banks of the water?” His coat glitters with movement as he hops down from his perch -- leaving stardust in his path. “Or perhaps, you’re too afraid of what lies in the water. I certainly would be.”
“You would be because you’re a cat,” Eliana answers as she crosses her arms over her chest. She doesn’t like this cat -- with his large blue eyes, star dusted black fur, and constant questions that she doesn’t have answers to. All she wants is for him to tell her how to get out. She just wants to go home.
The cat chortles. “Or so you think I am.”
“Anyways, I’m not afraid of the water! It’s just -- loud.”
“Loud?”
