honestlyy i think normal mode is a bit too easy (especially once you have proper equipment or the master sword) i got myself killed during fights against ganon twice because fighting him was way too easy and i didn't want the game to end yet. so now i focus on finishing the side quests

Yeah the only times I died in the original play through were when I did something really stupid (falling from heights, explode a bomb on myself, etc) or a Lynel killed me. Some of the bosses killed me because I didn’t know how to beat them or ran out of health items, etc.

I like the challenge on Master Quest a lot more. :)
