It always fascinates me how many people we cross paths with daily - so many stories, paths, journeys - that we know nothing about. Over a thousand people today were background extras in my life story, and I was just a nameless by stander in theirs. I always wonder what each person would say if I could interview everyone sharing a subway car or sidewalk. Where are they going? Where are they coming from? What's their favorite thing? What do they want their life to be?
