Maybe if Lance had the tall walking stick from astra's tried and true ("Lance has somehow managed to find a somewhat straight branch that’s taller than he is, using it as a hiking stick" [@existwound, ch2]), then Keith and Lance would've actually done some WALKING in walk with me by elli, in which THERE IS ONLY SIX MINUTES OF WALKING ("After only a short, six-minute walk..." escape velocity i think is actually one of the best fics klance community has. its after the war, there's history, there's so much angst and yearning, both perspectives, UGH I WAS TEARING UP!!!! so fucking good 100/10
