#GibSunday with my Special and @tomgibson3783’s #ExNihilo burst replica. These two are my favourite players at the moment. They play remarkably similarly, but the humbuckers are crisper and more defined than the P90s. Back home again after a pleasant visit with my mom for mom’s day. Now I’m spending #GibSunday night with the two Les Pauls currently in my life: my own 2009 #LesPaul TV Special VOS and @tomgibson3783’s replica 59 ‘burst. I bought the TV Special second hand years ago from @theguitarshopca and to demonstrate what a good guitar it is...I have held onto it all these years! Even after my collecting focus changed to vintage and most of my other modern guitars were sacrificed to acquire #vintageguitars and #amps. Tom’s #ExNihilo burst was handmade from scratch by a local luthier and it is currently my favourite #guitar in the whole world. In fact these two are a lot alike...similar weight, similar action, similar neck shape.
