Winter Drabble 9

(Used “Everything and everyone look so gorgeous in the snow.”)

“No! I refuse to go out there!” Sehun yelled at you as he walked past you towards his bedroom. Your followed him, hoping with each step like a bunny. Sehun placed his cup of water on his bedside table and flopped down onto the bed. He stared up at your slightly disappointed face and reached his hand out for you. “Come on, why don’t we just cuddle for a while and watch some TV?”

You shook your head, denying if for a long moment before you finally took his hand and let him pull you into his arms. You laid beside him, staring up at him with sad eyes. “Please, Hunnie, can we please go out in the snow? I want to make a snow-family,” you begged him. Sehun rolled his eyes, starting to already turn away from your puppy-dog gaze. You sat up a bit, taking him by the chin and forcing him to turn his face so he was looking at you. “Sehun, what is so wrong with the snow? You have to admit, everything looks beautiful in the snow.”

“I don’t have to admit anything, because it isn’t true. The snow is so… annoying. And bright. Everything is so bright against the snow,” he whined in his signature maknae voice. You knew it was just an act he put on every now and then to try and get what he wanted, but you still found it hard to deny him whatever he wanted.

You straddled him, knowing the best means at getting what you wanted. You grabbed him by the shoulders, staring down at him almost seductively. With a deep breath, you started to vigorously shake him; holding onto this shoulders tight so you were picking up his top half and slightly slamming it back down onto the bed. “Come. Outside. With. Me. Now. And. Make. A. Snow. Family!” You demanded, saying each word after every slam.

Sehun was able to ignore you for the first few words, but he finally started laughing, nodding his head as he held his hands up in defense. “Okay, okay! Just get off me and put your boots on.” He finally gave up, rolling his eyes in a defeated manner. You smiled sweetly at him, kissing him on the nose before getting off to get dressed. “And dress as warm as possible! Last think I need is to take care of your sick butt!”

You chuckled at his yelling as you started to get dressed. You put on all of your warmest articles of clothing, as well as a sweater under your jacket, your gloves, scarf, and hat. “You look like a big penguin,” Sehun teased as you waddled over to him. He chuckled at you, coming over to try and wrap his arms around you. He kissed the tip of your nose before covering it with your scarf.

The moment you got outside, you took a deep breath. You loved the wintery air. There was a whole new feel it gave you when you breathed it in. As you were taking in the lovely feeling, you felt a nudge against your back; causing you to lose balance and fall face first into a pile of snow. Like a turtle, you had to tootle onto each side in an attempt to turn yourself onto your back. You flared up at your boyfriend as he tried to hold in his laughter. He reached down and helped you back to your feet; brushing some of the snow off of you. “Why would you do that?”

“What can I say? Everything and everyone looks so gorgeous in the snow.”
