the last time catherine had seen kyungsoo wasn’t exactly the happiest of times, the girl having dragged him home against his own will. despite her actions, cat had no intention of harming the other. not after he had gallantly saved her from some asshole at the club who was getting a bit too handsy with her. he was proof that good men in this immoral world still existed and yet she had probably ruined everything for herself. she spent the majority of the night watching him from afar, unsure whether or not she should approach him. when she finally decided to make a move, she pretended to bump into him and slip into a nonchalant facade. “kyungsoo-yah, it’s… good to see you.” she bit down on her bottom lip as she stared up at him with puppy dog eyes. “you’re not still mad at me for what i did, are you? i was hoping we could put that behind us and just have fun tonight.”

finally alone in the secluded practice room, jinhwan closed the distance between himself and tao. he approached the other male from behind, gently taking hold of the other’s wrists and holding them behind his back before pressing his body close against his. “you looked so good during practice today, but you also seem a bit tense. i think i know the perfect way to get rid of some of that stress.” he whispered into the other’s ear, warm breath tickling the shell of his ear. “do you trust me? hyung just wants to take care of you.”

the moment his stylist suggested the outfit to him, renjun felt a wave of skepticism wash over him. did he like the outfit? definitely. but that didn’t necessarily mean that he would personally look good in it. the loose fitting unbuttoned dress shirt paired admittedly well with the tight black leather jeans that had been picked out as a complimenting piece. though renjun couldn’t help but feel insecure the moment he looked himself over in the mirror. he had been standing by himself at the company wide social gathering -- toying with the black velvet choker that rested against his neck -- when he heard a familiar voice that caused him to almost jump. his cheeks were flushed almost instantaneously and he could feel his mouth drying out. “you do?” his voice was barely above a whisper. “you don’t think it’s too much?” he glanced downward, still feeling a bit anxious over the fact that his ass was so defined in his pants.

blood lust had completely consumed sunni, to the point the young vampire hadn’t taken notice of the fact he was no longer alone with the human he had cornered. his eyes were a darkened crimson hue as he lazily glanced up at whoever had decided to ruin his feeding session. though the moment his gaze locked on the other who stood before him, he could have sworn his breath caught in his throat. he clumsily wiped any traces of blood from his mouth with the back of his hand before speaking, “would you like a turn?” he asked, gesturing to the human that laid practically limp in his arms. “i’m not usually one for sharing but you’re far too pretty to refuse.”

jealousy, it had always been one of tamaki’s weak points. it wasn’t something that had reared its ugly head in a while, but that all changed when he saw some random girl touching all over suho. it wasn’t like he was doing much to deter her from doing what she was either, leaving tamaki with a strange feeling in the pit of his stomach. it wasn’t until they were alone that he allowed himself to cave in to his emotions, slapping suho in the heat of the moment. it wasn’t until it was over that he realized what he had done, tears welling up in his eyes as he stared at the other. Instead of retaliating, a kiss was placed to the same palm that had come in contact with his cheek. “i’m sorry,” his words came out in a whisper as his gaze flickered down toward the ground.

chanyeol didn’t necessarily consider himself as someone who was overly emotional, but there were definitely periods of time where he was more sensitive than usual. he hadn’t realized that he was in one of those states until he and his members were at dinner together, talking about kyungsoo’s military service. his shift in mood was more than obvious, having previously laughing and making jokes and now rendered almost silent. he was in a bit of a daze as he looked down at his phone, looking at his lockscreen which was set to a picture of both he and kyungsoo together. While they had admitted their feelings for one another, they hadn’t been able to deal with them before the other’s enlistment date. it left chanyeol wondering what could happen between them. it filled him with both an overwhelming sadness and a sense of longing. as he left the restaurant and began to make his way back to his apartment, he froze in his tracks. he was slowly crumbling, tears gathering in his eyes. he looked down at his phone before making the brazen decision to allow himself to hail a taxi and instruct the driver to head to the military housing he knew the other was staying at. When the vehicle came to a stop, he quickly paid the fare and hopped out. he headed up to the rather plain looking living quarters and knocked softly on the door, the door opening soon after. the moment he saw the other, he completely broke down crying. “kyungsoo-yah.” he sobbed.

renjun wasn’t naive or oblivious to the blatant mistreatment that s.m. delivered to certain members, especially foreign ones. sicheng had usually been on the other end of whatever horrid treatment they deemed fit. but lately, he had started to become victim to it. he had wandered off just for one moment and suddenly none of his members or managers were in sight. he was in a city he had never been in before and there were faces he didn’t recognize passing him by. tears quickly welled in his eyes as an overwhelming feeling of anxiety filled him up, he nervously fumbled through the pockets of his coat. once he felt his phone he quickly pulled it out to text chenle and jisung. nothing. tears began to trickle down his cheeks and he aimlessly approached a nearby park, plopping down on one of the benches. he scrolled through his phone, locating a number he had never dared to call before but he was desperate. he hit the call button and lifted the device to his ear before clearing his throat, “hyung? um… i need help.” he tried his best to stop his voice from cracking.

IT WAS HARDLY a secret that lay was renjun’s idol, the boy having turned into a blushing schoolboy whenever he was in his sunbae’s presence. but things had changed since his debut. it wasn’t as if he didn’t still look up to the other as an idol, but there was more behind his admiration. lay was more than someone he wished he could be. he had become the one person he chose to confide in the most and was his main source of support -- and somehow along the way he had fallen for him whether he wanted to or not. his complicated feelings only made it ten times more difficult being away from the other for so long. there was this constant creeping fear that lay’s solo career would take precedence in his life and renjun would soon be forgotten. he was curled up on his bed in an oversized sweater and boxers, far too depressed to think about doing anything else today. stay strong, it was easier said than done, lay must have known that. he knew how the chinese members were treated differently, whether the company claimed indifference or not. “i’m trying,” his voice cracked, tears straining it. he refused to let himself cry in front of lay, even if it was on facetime or not. at the mention of the fox plushie, he glanced over to it and picked it up. a look of confusion formed on his face as he studied the charm for a few moments, “you better not be messing with me right now.” he teased before fiddling with the charm. once it opened, he pulled out the small strip of paper and read the characters written upon it. his heart felt like it was in his throat and he looked up at the camera, “you…” so much for not letting his tears come out. he sniffled before a soft sob like noise escaped him, “wo ai ni.” the sentiment was almost whispered, not wanting to let on how much he was crumbling in both a good and bad way.
