Xiumin and Suho both have teasers that are very dream-like (Xiumin and the spinning top, Suho’s alarm ringing through the whole video). Could it be hinting that there’s a parallel between the two of them? Will Xiumin be the EXO-M leader?

Let’s talk about the hints: ‘the 2nd track’ and ‘dawn’.

Starting with the rather obvious one: dawn. Dawn is the first light of the day. Light = Baekhyun.

The really good one is “the 2nd track”. I thought it might be the member who sung on the 2nd track of one of the albums/mini-albums (including Exodus even though it’s not even released yet). I didn’t know which album it would be though, so I checked them all out. It turns out that every single album has the 2nd track as a special one where not all of the members sing. 

XOXO: Suho, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, and D.O. (Baby Don’t Cry) MAMA: Baekhyun and D.O. (What Is Love) MID: Suho, Xiumin, Lay, Luhan, Baekhyun, Chen, and D.O. (Christmas Day) Overdose: Baekhyun and D.O. (Moonlight)

The only people who sing on all of the 2nd tracks are D.O. and Baekhyun, so it could be either of them. But paired with the other hint, it’s probably Baekhyun.

Did anyone notice that the sound of Suho’s alarm continues through the whole video? If it never got shut off, he probably didn’t wake up. He could just be hearing it while dreaming.
