Headcanons so far.

- His commonly used nickname of "Sparks," refers to the time when he was working on the Lachesis Project and misjudged the amount of charge a specific component of the project held, he tried to weld a piece and ended up electrocuting himself. His hair stood up wildly for days, gaining him the ridicule of his peers. Now, during his time in the wastelands, he introduces himself by this name.

- Sparks has a nervous tick where he picks at the dirt under his nails. It usually gives away that he’s lying and is a pretty good indicator that he’s uncomfortable in a situation.

- The scar on his lip comes from the time Nora tossed a screwdriver at him and he wasn’t paying attention. Three stitches and a few laughs later, it became one of those rare memories that always makes him smile.

- Before venturing out into the wastes on his own, Sparks ransacked his parent’s old home for supplies. Doing so, he uncovered a  music player that belonged to his daughter, which he keeps in his backpack along with a few books, some tools, and her photo.

- Sparks keeps a picture of his daughter, Mercy, locked away with his personal supplies. He doesn't let himself look at it very often because he's overrun with guilt when he does. Although there wasn’t much he could have done to save her, he still blames himself.

- While working in the center, Sparks learned to play the piano to help improve his dexterity. He also has a smooth singing voice, but the only person he ever let hear it was Mercy.

- One of his favorite pastimes with his father included building model airplanes. Though, he gave up the hobby before he worked for NASA, if someone were to squat in their family home they would find dozens of models in the basement.

- He can’t cook very well, so it’s probably a good thing that the majority of what he does for food is heat up cans over a fire and barter for barbecued meat.

- His Mother’s Milk addiction has become less severe over the past few months, but he doesn’t expect the reprieve to last for long.
