A day late but here is “What could have been” for day two of exoweek! It was crazy in the first play-through that Tammy dies so young and we get a glimpse of her through a vision, older, happy, and full of life.

i didn’t have anything planned for this but the prompt reminded me of that interaction when you tutor nougat where you can choose to tell her the truth about earth or not, obv i told her 😔

Prompt day 1: Glow Season Prompt day 3: Sneaking Out

Didn't plan on doing any art for exoweek (focusing on writing) but I was compelled this morning! I was wishing for spring and thinking about the first flower that pops up to tell me its on the way: my snowdrops. Made me want a Vertumnan equivalent that is the first plant to show up after Glow (Glowdrops?). I've been learning watercolors through botanicals so it seemed like a good chance to practice. I also learned there's a mycoheterotroph (a plant with a ~symbiotic~ relationship with fungi, in which the plant gets all or part of its food from parasitism rather than photosynthesis) on Earth called Pine Drops. So I drew those too. They look pretty similar to what's in the Valley of Vertigo... or purple asparagus... I've only been working with watercolors for a few weeks and I'll blame my low-quality scanner for eating the colors too. Hopefully by next exo-week I'll be better!  Photo cred: Wikipedia
