wait but i don't understand, like there are definitely people, maybe not many but there are people, who just hate white people
true but racism is a system that stops people from living their lives. racism is found through ignorance based upon stereotypes or the mere fact that someone is uncomfortable with their skin color. racism is oppressive. racism plays into everyday life. while yes there are folks who genuinely hate white people but hate against white people doesnt stop white people from taking out their trash or holding a toy gun in a store.
white people still have privilege beyond privilege.
white people can live their life in peace without worrying about if theyre going to get a job or if theyre going to get gunned down or if theyre going to get hounded at you a store for “stealing something”. racism is much more than hating someone based on their skin and a lot of people do not know that

Hi, to respond to your post on starbucks, I've been a starbucks barista for a year and a half -- any drink that can be made hot can also be made iced or in a frappuccino form. (This is not true the other way around. It's like squares and rectangles kind of.) If you want a salted caramel frappuccino, it is VERY possible. Your baristas should make it for you. (Also my store has excellent bagels so idk about that one.)
Also, in a regular caramel frappuccino or in any drink at all, you can always ask for less syrup so that it’s not too sweet.

i do know that you can always order iced drinks. my caramel drink order is normally iced caramel macchiato, which i love, but i didnt know i could, like, order a drink that doesn’t exist in the menu? because there’s literally no “salted” drink, i can just go there and be like “make me this thing i want that doesnt exist in your menu please”? lol
i think my problem comes from the fact that the starbucks culture in my country (brazil) is pretty new, so like, most people don’t know starbucks is SUPER customizable and the baristas also don’t tell us, so i’m not exactly sure what i can or cannot order, what i can or cannot ask for
but thank you :) <3 i’ll keep your message in mind (especially regarding the syrup) when i go to starbucks next and if it isn’t too crowded i’ll try to talk to the barista making my drink
