That's okay. With work, birthdays, and a wedding I was knocked out early this year. I got 8 drawings done?
Good on you for doing 8 though! You’ve been struggling to get 1 picture done a month. Getting 8 is a big improvement on that! I hope you’re proud of yourself :)
expendableextra replied to your post:Why does the Internet have inktober, Nanos,...
I completely agree. I have several birthdays and get togethers over the course of the month and it’s taxing to get anything done.
Oh man, yeah. You have enough of those, and that’s all your weekends gone, so all your catch up time is erased. I am trying to keep my stress levels down, so I think I might do a 30 day challenge in December, or January. It’d be good to try something with a commitment, but not during a month where I have other commitments too.

I’ve found that artists tend to have certain things which are demonically hard and others which are like breathing. Being a good artist is attacking those weak points.
Totally! I've had MANY weak points with my art, and honestly, the only thing that I was able to do by just playing around a lot was composition, and if it counts, imagination and even then, I'm not that amazing at it. Everything I'm good at now I use to be shit at, and I have art from as far back as 7 to prove it. I use to not have any social life, and my best friend was my sketch pad for developing ideas for my stories on. Actually, I use to write more than I drew. I miss that :( It's why I love comics now- the best of both worlds :) Some find colour easy to pick up, and some other things. IT's cool yo- who wants to be perfect at everything? I enjoy the whole learning process :)
expendableextra replied to your post:Dungeons and Dragons fans-
If hitting stuff is getting to be a problem, go for the hit bonus. If you don’t have a wizard/sorcerer to throw damage around, then go for the bonus on that.
It's hard to know which to go for cause in every battle I've faught in, my character has been able to take down most of the main villian's HP on his own, but with our last battle against Kardswann, I got knocked unconscious after dealing half his HP in damage. I know that I hit hard when I hit, but I missed out on a lot of attack of opportunities and confirming crits with him that could've made a difference.
We do have 2 sorcerers and a cleric though. I guess increasing my hit bonus by two is nice- specially since I can't get Weapon finesse as a feat with the falchion normally. Being able to make use of my weapon finesse would be super handy too. Attacks of opportunities rock when you hit hard :3 And I don't know if Saint Vardashell is going to teach this stuff again- maybe he will and I'll learn all three moves eventually? That'd be cool :)
Ah- DND feels TuT

If you play on the Xbox let me know if you need a co-op partner. I've heard it's fun.
PS3. I wish I had it on 360, because it seems like almost everyone I know has it on that system.
expendableextra replied to your post:I believe that the Superman and Shazam panels are from Superman/Shazam: First Thunder (2006). There's no way the New 52 portrays Superman that positive. They prefer Superman to be misunderstood and angsty now. IMO, Superman is the worst casualty of the New 52.
Best way to tell if it’s New 52 or old DC. Underwear on outside = old DC, lines all over the costume for no reason = New 52
This is true- it seems to be the new trend, eh? Why the underwear shame, DC? Have you lost your sense of humour? WAIT- YOU HAVE.

17:Favorite loyalty mission?
I really enjoyed Garrus’ mission, too, because instead of combat it was more centered around a difficult decision that had no comfortable answer. It was one of those missions that reflects not just the character but your Shepard.
18:Favorite weapon?
Shoutout to the ridiculous black hole gun, which got my ass out of the fire on ME2 Insanity a couple of times.
23:What enemy do you really like fighting?
Stuff I can really knock around with biotics. That’s where the most genuine gun is had, and where the game stands out from being another 3p shooter.
