The reason why I have so many Resin-Soul dolls and big PVC Obitsus it’s because back in the day (before recasts), elitists shamed and excluded anyone who had a Resin-Soul, or a Lost-Angel (now ‘Miro-Doll’), Bobobie, Hujoo, Obitsu, Fantasy-Doll or even expensive but “not-so-well known” companies from Korea and China. I wanted to prove this dolls could be just as awesome and beautiful as the most expensive ones, even if I had my Volks and Iplehouse, Soom and Luts or CP LEs. I hate people who thinks are above others based on their money, and wanted to show elitist from “that times” (not so long ago, but in this hobby seems like ages) that people who had this “cheap shit sculpts” where also part of the community; Now nobody remembers that part of the hobby because it’s all about “legit” vrs “recast” (and it’s not convenient for either part to remember it), but I can assure you all, before recast even existed, this “pro-artist” (or anti-recast) members of the “bjd community” where assholes to anyone who didn’t had a US$ 500+ from a well known company every month waiting at their doorstep (and God forbid you had to make your own wig or clothing, or had “just one” pair of each to dress your doll!). When recasts came around, I knew I was going to be pro-recast, no because of the price or the options (that are extremely good, and I’m very happy that they open the hobby to so many people who now can be part of this pro-recast friendly community), but mainly because I totally knew this assholes would be concentrating their bullying and insults into those who had a recast because that is what they have done since the start of the hobby. Shitting on others who they think are inferior to them. So it pains me so much when I see people who owns Resin-Soul or Bobobie or Miro-Doll attacking other who have recasts, because they are new here, and they are really not aware that pro-recast are taking the bullet for them, if recast where not longer a thing and disappear completely from the world, who do you think the elitists will go to pour their shit and insults?, yes, to YOU dear legit cheap company owner. Luckily for you, recast are not going anywhere anytime soon, but you should just shut your mouth if you don’t have anything nice to say about a recast owner, you know why?, because a few years back, “that was you”.
