Hey lovely momfriend 😘 can you do me a favour and yell at me, and to actually make something with my life 😂 I need some motivation and no one in my family is helping that much at it lol

omg my love I’m not gonna yell at you but I’m gonna encourage and support the FUCK out of you <3 You talk to me about ANYTHING ANYTIME and I have your back. Also the expectation that people in their early 20s should know what they’re doing with their life is a giant load of taurine scat. You change SO MUCH in your 20s and SO MANY people go through not quite knowing what they’re doing. In fact, the people who DO have it together either a- are better at hiding that they don’t or b- are SUPER rare. 

I did my first bachelors in a degree that I am 100% not using right now because of a lot of reasons that are a too-long story to go into rn, and when I graduated I didn’t know what I wanted to do and it took me a LONG time. I’m 28 and getting my second bachelors and I’m still tossing around what I want to do with my life and career and that’s totally absolutely 100% normal and okay and valid because lives are complicated things that aren’t always gonna fit into neat and tidy boxes and that’s absolutely okay and normal. 

Don’t compare yourself to other people. Every one experiences life differently, in different ways, and at different speeds. You go at your own pace and whatever you do, I’m going to be proud of you for it <3
