something I have learned from playing modded Minecraft and Terraria with friends is that sidewalks come at the expense of grass; quality of life mods often have drawbacks in that paving over areas of the game one dislikes can be good in moderation/if you don't have the time for ts™️ but if you pave over everything mildly inconvenient the game loses its soul
