something I have learned from playing modded Minecraft and Terraria with friends is that sidewalks come at the expense of grass; quality of life mods often have drawbacks in that paving over areas of the game one dislikes can be good in moderation/if you don't have the time for ts™️ but if you pave over everything mildly inconvenient the game loses its soul
So like it's 1am in the morning and I just now find out there's an Astarion Stardew Mod. Welp, looks like Winnie is going to become a Farmer.
Resident Evil: Revelations - Modding Guide
Never played the Revelations games in the Resident Evil series before. Might have been a miss on my part! Finally came round to the first game and it was a lot of fun. Me being me I tried to do a little modding to it as well. That became a modding guide and here it is. I do hope it might get some more gamers to try the game out.
If I go on to the second game in the series I might do a little more modding. We will have to see. : )
Medal of Honor: Allied Assault - Modding
It is time to get down and mod another classic game. This time it's Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. I wanted to get the game running in full screen and mayhaps tweak the graphics a bit.
Resulted in a hopefully good modding guide for just that!
Can't wait to do a full run of this game now. : )

Modding games can be fucking hard
Seriously. I’ve followed this one blog for like forever since the game came out and they had their game modded. I wanted 1 of the mods because it made the outfit so much better, like ridiculously better than the games outfit. But of course to use the mod, you need a very specific mod manager... that is no longer on nexus mods. So first you have to go find the mod manager. And you do! but it has no documentation on how to use it. So I go looking for how to use it. I had like 6 different pages open, tried looking through the internet archives to see if nexus would at least let me see the old /description/ of the mod (NOPE). I FINALLY found a youtube tutorial of the thing. And guess what? it’s not straight forward AT ALL. like you have to make two extra folders, name them specific names, double check that the patch is the correct one, and then make sure you click the right mod folder (there are like 3 nested ones that it could have been) and /finally/ click merge. Which then takes forever. and I don’t even know if it /worked/ yet!!!!!!
